1Grab tranqs (amount depends on level) and a longneck and at least 100 narcotics

2Get double the amount of tranqs and narcotics you have after step one

3 get even more tranq darts and narcotics

4Bring a good meat gathering dino and tell it to stop nearby (but not too close or it dies) to the giga.

5Bring tapajara or argy (or any bigish flyer) with a saddle

6Grapple onto flyer (make sure it’s on stop)

7shoot the giga from really high up

8when giga runs tell flyer to attack giga so you can keep up with it

9 knockout the giga and starve it

10while starving, use your meat dino to kill nearby prime dinos

11feed the giga the prime meat (keep it uncontious and don’t go too far)

Found a level 145, took over 200 shocking tranq darts and put 100 exceptional kibble in its inventory but the MF woke up, did the exact same thing again and it still woke up!!! It then took a rocket launcher to the face. 2 hours of my life I’ll never get back

On mobile for some reason it won’t show how much torpor it has when u look at it with spy glass if anyone knows why plss answer it

I tamed one because of a glitch the gigs sat on a rock while I just shot it in the face the whole time didn’t run or move but he’s still tamed

The ULTIMATE Dino team: island, mobile compatible too

Tanks: 3-5 sarcos, a therizno, and 2 brontos

Scouts: high level raptors, and mabey some sabbers

Attackers: 1giga, 2 spinos, and a Rex (if no giga spino is great sub)

Pursuits: (not on mobile) a small team of pegos with some itchy seagulls both are to drain supplies

Ariel team: idrk about aerials so I’m thinking a quiztle and some pteranodons and tappys canons attached and riders with bows

When attacking a op tribe with these dinos here is a good strategy:

Send the scouts to survey the camp, and report back. Send the aerials first, they will be kinda of wave 1/2 and will distract the op players and keep eyes mostly off the ground. Then send in the pursuits. They will rob most of the players out of their stuff and distract them. Now, start moving in the tanks and the attackers. Have the brontos break through any wall that keeps the others from getting in and then start demolishing the base. Have the raptors and sabers stay at the edge of the base to catch escapers. With this strat you will totally ruin someone’s day but become sooo op if u

On Ragnarok, they spawn in the Highlands, (top right of the map, with the lighthouse and the huge fields) Also, flocks of sheep spawn around there too, making it easy to gather mutton. I've seen a group of 8 once, and then a giga came and chomped 'em all down.

Pro tip : Dododex's arrow/darts or really any way to deal torpor damage to wild Dino's is based only on how many it would take to knock it out if all of the shots/punches are dealt all at once. The more time that goes without shooting it the more shots it takes because the Dino's torpor is always trying to go back down.

Taming tip:

Don’t it’s too much effort for a carnivore that one highish drop will forget everything and rip you up into little Bob nuggets

Supper overrated 2 Tek rexs are better than them

So there are more on the mountain’s than on land but there hard to get I use my god pass you tames like 7 to 9 of em

To kill it

First:tame 40 max lvl dimorphodon's.

Second:go to a mountain.

Last: have fun you can kill a big fat boss.

Some times ark just want you to be killed I felled from a cliff and dismounted

but my giga still raged and killed me

You can get a giga at lvl 62 ark mobile first step run Valcano cave speed run don’t even look back at the bugs when you get the artifact let them kill you go tribute it get a rifle asc get like 60 darts get 4 metal gates trap the giga dart it once down get get ur 10x balm ready get prime it will take 1 or 4 boom you got a giga then just speed run the cave of the strong with a grapple it’s ezzzz

So my buddy and I are playing Ark on PS4. Tried to tame a Lvl 6 Giga while on a Tapejara. My buddy pumped at least 150 tranqs into the beast and nothing happened. Are you not allowed to tame while on a flying mount????

So hard to knock out but if you use at least crossbow you can knock this out at lvl 1 in a hower then get extrodenay cibble I tamed mine with meat tho.
