How to tame a giga

1 you need 4 behemoth gateways and 4 behemoth gates to trap the giga

2 get 100-200 shocking tranquilizer darts to knock the giga out

3 get 200-400 narcotic to keep the giga knocked out so the giga doesn't wake up and kill you

4 you have a giga now in joy

If you want a giga you absolutely need to trap it so here is my guide.

For the trap you will need 1x behemoth metal gate

6x regular metal gates and three bear traps

For placement place the big gate facing in the direction of the big boi

Then put the smaller gates in a triangle shape on the other side then put three bear traps Down because if something happens and one gets loose another one will catch it then lure the giga into the trap a fire away. Ps if you can try to use a good longneck or crossbow this will make it a lot faster personally I had an ascendant longneck with 423% dmg and it took 65 darts for a level 55 female and keep at least 200 narcotics on you the torpor drain is crazy. -potato

I never found one but if I did find a high level don’t even think about taming it run for your life and if you also encounter a Rex run until you get to a safe place and the Giga will fight the Rex

If your on the island single player gigas will be very rare. Most are found in the top right region because yutys spawn rates take Up the ice region and the gigas and rexes take up the mountain region

However many narcos you think you need, triple it and then add another thousand

Found a male and female together, trapped them seperately. Then raised a baby giga!

Don’t even bother using normal weapons, use ascendant crossbows/longnecks from lava cave.

The giga is a pretty hard tame if your wanting one. Gigas can destroy lots of stuff, and it has a okay speed. Get a ton of darts and aim for the head, you might also want to stand on a mountain. Bring a lot of narcotics with you, your gonna need it. Add a soothing thing with it as well you can tame with raw meat (normal) if you want but it takes longer. Stock up on food. Also try to keep it safe because for me these guys spawn mainly near mountains and there’s a bunch of threats there. Try your best to keep it safe and safe taming!

When the Giga eyes turn red it’s hp and damage also got up so be careful

You actually just need 3 metal dino gates and a large bear trap to knock a giga , first just place 2 metal gates like a top of triangle / \ . Then put the large bear trap next to the little gap between the gates , lure the giga into the trap. Then put the last Metal dino gate behind it as fast as possible and just make sure the gap isnt really big /_\ . Shoot it with about 150 tranq arrows and bring 200 biotoxin

The way I've learned to tranq Dino's is to wait about 4 seconds between shots to let torpor rise, DO NOT DO IT WITH THIS GUY. Shoot as fast as you can reload and pull the trigger.

Fighting: Admit you're screwed...Attempt to make peace with your losses...cry a lot.

Escaping:Get the heck out as fast as you can. Try to lead the "Giga" to water or herbivores to distract it.

Just get a gold rifle or crossbow my rifle has 347.7% AND it just needs 61 darts forma a level 100 to TAME wish me luck. For the trap u needs 4 metal signos AND 2 large Bear traps first u place 3 metal signs like this [_] then the two Bear traps In the middle then u make the giga to follows you make sure the Gigi gets trap In the Bear traps now quickly place the last sign In the back, wait like 1-2 minutos to meke sure the giga doesn't escapes AND after that you just hice a Lot o tranq arrows/darts.
