Use 200 narcotics for the Gigantosaurus

Four metal signs work to trap a giga, but you HAVE to place it a flat ground. It will escape if the signs are uneven.

Also, don't even think about trying to tame a high level giga without a ascended crossy or longneck.

How to tame a giga:

Find a giga (they spawn at Mountains)

Knock It out with tranq arrow or tranq darts

There torpor drops really fast so make sure to feed it narcotics or bio toxin

Feed it raw meat or raw prime meat:

Enjoy ur giga

When your giga is out only and only use meat it is good to bring and argy, and a griffin. I hope this helps also use bio toxin.

tip for beginners, these are easy to find and are passive, it's a great first tame

You can do the same trap but with metal posters.

Easy passive tame, you just have to sneak up behind it with cloth armor and no pants and give it thatch 👍

Once a tamed giga gets below 50% health it freaks out on ANYTHING. YES, THAT MEANS YOU, THE MAN WHO TAMED IT. DONT LET IT GET BELOW 50%

Don’t worry it will auto tame if you argo it so just walk up to it and if it attacks you definitely don’t run. Trust me

There torpor drops really fast and I mean really so the faster you shoot at it the less darts you will need anless your are really fast at shooting and not getting killed but even if you are your still going to need like 130 darts for a level 1 believe me if you want to be 100% safe bring 250 darts. Also bring like 3000 narco berries if on extinction or se if on map with ocean you'll be better off with biotoxin

Really easy just go up to it while crouching and feed it prime meat or quetzal kibble :)

I would reccomend buying a raised wine with 375 base melee, I had one it came out with like 615 melee and I could solo red drops on extinction, and could kill titans easy(get sac saddle)
