I use quetzel with platform and then just shoot it till it dies and get the implant and gain a whole lot of xp..or shoot it tranq it but i prefer to kill it and then built a cage type of thing on the obelix and then viola another long shootout begins..try taming it but its going to take awhile.13/12/19

When taming a giga you want to use 4 gates with a large bear trap. Set down three of the gates in a U shape and shoot the giga from far to aggro it and lead it inside of the trap. Once the bear trap holds the giga in place you have 10 seconds to run and place the fourth gate behind it. I highly recommend taking a throwaway bird, when taming gigas a lot can go wrong.

Do nothing you’re dead if you see a giga

I dare you to tame with nothing but narco berries

Make sure when you find this creature you grab either a tribe mate or a troll and you bola them and see the gigs eat them

Run.

This gentle giant can easily be fed with mejo Berry's just go up to the giga stick out your hand and feed it its a very good starter tame

No joke I tamed a level 120 giga when i was Just level one I knocked it out with my bare fists and then killed a titanosaur with my bare fists to get the meat then I tamed the giga and killed everyone on the server

When seeing a giga, run. If you intend to tame, bring BULLETS, and FRIENDS they are not a fun tame to knock out or feed. They are stupid and have low agro so lead it by something if you're being chased. Don't let them RAGE it is bad, they throw you off, murder you and then eat you. Raging happens when they take about 1000 hp of damage.

All you need is to kill a dodo and use the raw meat to passive tame the guy, he can be useful for just tanking attacks while you shoot :)

With a 150 perfect tame and a good saddle you can murder wilds.

I tame them daily I have magically power and know how long it takes between spawns take more than 100 plus extra arrows to he counter on the dododex is off by double on high level gigas...

My gigas destroy wild gigas..lol

If u have a 150 perfect tame giga u cane solo a lvl 30 giga I done it on 703 I took me down to 5k hp just keep pressing RT slit y should win

Put 3 metal Dino gates down in a box without a closing on one end. Make sure the opening is facing the giga and open the gate on the other end,after that put a bear trap (large) in the middle of the gates. Once completed agro the giga to the opening of the 3 gates and run through the other side where the gate is open and close it. You have about 15 seconds after the giga steps in the bear trap to take a 4 th Dino gate and close the open end.The giga is now trapped now just tranq it down.Have a crap ton of narcotics ready because their torpor goes down really fast

So for the younger players and even some of the older players (who have been playing this game for a couple months.) You may wonder, "what do I level up in a giga?nothing seems to go up lots". Well don't you worry I'll tell you what to level up and why. Level up a giga's Melee damage. The reason is it's a percentage based stat and with a giga doing massive damage with leveling damage up by even .5% each time is enough to make a huge difference by the time it's max level. Trust me here damage is what you want.

If you can't build a trap the best place to tame a Giga in the island map is to lure it into smugglers pass. After it kills everything it will, guaranteed get stuck in one of the cliff faces. Just keep tranqing it. Once it's down wait till it loses 4000 torpor and activate 100 narcotics. This gives you ample time to build wood/metal spike walls around the unconscious Giga.
