What are tips for giganotosaurus? Tips and strategies for giganotosaurus in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Want a manslaughter machine? Don't worry, I got you.
1. Get a Quetzal with a platform saddle (Non-platform works as well)
2. Get a Longneck with shocking tranq darts (100-200 darts, depending on level)
3. Get a friend if you can. (You can do this singleplayer as well)
4. Have your friend (or yourself) drive the Quetzal towards a Giga, but make sure you're high enough to not get hit.
5. Shoot the Giga. Chase it when it starts torpor running.
6. Now that your Giga's out, give it Prime Meat, Mutton, or Kibble.
7. Place spike fences around your Giga, and protect it.
8. Have a bunch if Narco BERRIES. Narco Berries don't restore as much torpor, but they have a slower release. Get some Bio Toxin just in case.
9. You have a Giga!
10. Get one of the opposite gender
11. Breed your Gigas.
12. You have an Army.

In order to breed, just place all ur other dinos in a round formation with the gigas inside and then mate them
You need 2 or 4 behemoth stone gateways to trap the Giga. To lure it I recommend to use an argy and grab a wild dino like a parasaur. Then when the Giga is in your trap make sure to sleep to tame the Giga faster and afterwards knock out the Giga and use prime meat or just normal meat but make to sure to bring it alot because its not work making quetzal kibble. Btw when you sleep the Giga or any dino will instantly eat the food given when its unconcious.
If you are one a pvp sever once it is tamed cryopod it and put the cryopod in your hop bar and throw it out when your getting raided to scare enemies away.
So here's a (untested, just hypothysising here) raid strat:
Tame giga: any lvl works
Hop on giga WITH NOTHING THATS IMPORTANT
Bring giga into enemy base
Fight to rage or death, rage preferably
Once rage let it, well, RAGE, don't send anything in
I it dies, either send more throw aways, or rinse and repeat
If it doesn't, you win!
To the person who is trying to tame with arrows, i really wish you luck and if you have already tried plz post how it went because I will be attempting to do the same!
I went to the Argy mountain and saw a giga first I thought that’s a Rex but that was huge then I got into it with my Pteranodon and boom in one bite my Pteranodon’s health became almost zero and it dismounted me and both died… 2nd attempt to get back my belongings back I was there at the exact spot and giga was far away I took all the stuff and boom that ran towards me I mounted on my 2nd pteranodon and boom same thing happened again ☹️ RIP Papadon and betadon
Use compound bow if you have one
but get abt 1000 narcotics or it will wake up it takes no meat but it takes years to eat the meat
Tranquilizer arrows
Punch 1 time and it's knocked out and wait 1 minute if it's up its tamed don't feed food because it won't expect it
Killed 2gigas with ease with a normal shotgun on my griffin(note griffin had 10k health and once he got to nearly 2k)
Run to bace as fast as you can or try to kill it
Heads up they can't swim I let it to the water and I noticed it started sinking and trying to go back so I pissed it off and had it go out further and then about 2 minutes later I level 46 giga died

I JUST TAMED MY FIRST GIGA LESS GO BABY
Managmars are very good because of their fast change in direction for luring them into a trap. The easiest and one of the cheapest is 4 metal Gate frames and 1 Large bear trap. Also don’t try to tame them in the open they will just get away and you will lose all the torpor you did. Also bring lots of narcotics they’re torpor drops insanely fast. Finally be careful where you trap them and destroy the metal gates after it’s knocked out or Corrupted Dino’s will come to destroy them leading to lower taming efficiency.
