You have about 13:40 until its torpor starts to drain between iterations of 100 narcotics (this is if the torpor is not maxed out). You have exactly 20 sec before the torpor starts to drain if its maxed out. This was discovered on ASA Ragnarok official settings for PVE no bonus.

Ok guys. So ive been flying around with my argy in the snow biome for a high lvl yuty and came across this lvl135 giga. I tamed him with 5 Crossbows first like idk 400 tranq arrows went into his skull but then he ran from torpor so body shot it was so i dont accidentally miss. In total i shot like 475 arrows since my 5th Crossbow was still alive. Now hes MINE! THE OVERSIZED CHICKEN IS MINE! And i had 260 tranqs left and 3 Crossbows… I was too poor for shocking tranqs but if u have some time and youre poor like me use crossbows and never and i repeat NEVER stop shooting. DONT U DARE TO RUN AROUND TO HIT HIM IN THE HEAD WHEN HES RUNNING. I missed couple if shots but there was a lower passage down my feet sooooo yeahh. Goodluck!

Nowadays it’s become known that billboards work just as gateways. Tried it on evolved and it worked perfectly. 4 metal billboards and a bear trap.

Never fight a tamed against a wild unless you have mods to change it back to original hp for taming use 4-8 to make a trap of shape of your choice (if you’re unexperience using more is fine but leave 1 or 2 sides open and put a large bear trap when he is stuck in the trap finish the shapes sides i usually bring 6 with me just incase

If u want to knock this beast of an animal fast and efficiently u will need the following.

Upgrade station

Longneck rifle damage: 400 or more

About 200-300 narcotics

Arkomatic meat spoiler

Arkomatic terrateriam(grows crops more so put narcoberry seed in here need about 2-3 of these bad boys).

Discovery wyvern from the discovery mod(or just a regular wyvern with good health and stamina)

About 100 tranq darts

A backup wyvern(for if the other one dies)

Awesome spyglass

Extra narcotics(if giga is above level 125

And last but not least common sense

If u don’t wanna waste all ur metal, use a few crossbows with tranq arrows. 3 primitive crossbows and about 300 tranq arrows work 4 me.

A simple trick once it’s down is to wait until it’s torpor is under 5% or so and then spam feed as many narcotics as you have. This should keep it down for the whole taming cycle as it’s torpor increases MUCH SLOWER than it decreases.

Here's a 2nd way to tame it in mobile first get 4 metal gates ride a frog or raptor a giga won't aggro on u if u ride a creature casually put the gates around it don't worry it won't attack u just don't attack it once u trap it knock it feed it boom tamed

I tamed a 145 level giga with a master craft bow which broke while knocking it sadly and a journeyman crossbow with hundreds of tranq arrows😎

Listen over all it’s not that hard:

1-get times 10 soothing balm

2-stock up on trank arrows

3-find giga in wild (wooded areas and along beaches)

4-find a high place to lure it to where it can’t attack you

5-shoot it with trank arrows

6-when it is tranked put lots of narcotics meat and the soothing balm in it’s inventory

7-build a wall around it so other animals or players can’t kill it

8-once it is tamed put a saddle on it and ride back home

These guys WON'T attack you on mobile if you're on a mount. It WILL attack you if you dismount or if you're not traveling on a mount. ❤️

How to tame.

1. Use 4-5 metal gates with large bear trap to trap it.

2. Seal the trap.

3. Use enough narcotic darts to make all the elephants in Africa fall asleep.

4. Shove it full of prime meat, or regular meat if you are a psychopath.

5. Use enough narcotics to keep the giga asleep, enough being to be the next Walter White.

6. Use even more narcotics, whatever you brought, it is not enough.

Now you have a giga.

For taming these beast I would use raw prime meat on mobile and a large bear trap and lots of narcoberry or narcotic

Why cryopods are amazing so I was looking for the rock drake nest and it was hidden so I needed to get rid of the trees so I checked in my inventory to check if I had any dinos, and then I found a giganotosaurus, so I brought it out and destroyed all the trees, and I found it.please 👆

If you're mobile, 2 quetz Kibble and a balm and now you have a giga of about 214 levels

How to save your base if you see wild Giga near.

Grab bow or any range weapon and make it folow you in sea. Go as far as you can in water. Its only way. Dont even think trying to kill this expetialy if you are solo it wont work. You will probably break your shotgun before it dies few times over. And in meantime he will destroy all your tames and whole base. So make it folow you in sea as far as possible. Ideal if you can lure it out of your base render range. And good luck if you see this thing near your base. You will need it.
