In case anyone wants to know what I use to kill Gigas: I usually use a Lighting or Blood Crystal wyvern. Make sure that you're wyvern has a good amount of health, stamina, and melee damage. May have to land a few times too. I had a bit over half health after killing a level near 135. (My Blood Crystal wyvern was about level 220)

It will take some time to gather the narcotic for me by myself it took 8 hours to get 1800 narcotics I reccomend bringing spare arrows and the materials to make another crossbow in case the crossbow breaks for a 150 it takes 1800 but I reccomend making 2200 just in case

How do you make shocking trauqs arrows

Get four metal billboards with a large bear trap in the middles. Tamed with arrows took around 250 for a lvl 55. Pump narcotics as soon as it gets downed and feed it mutton.

CHEAPEST WAY TO TAME: First you need 4 Metal Billboards and a large bear trap, you place one horizontally. The other two you need to place on the sides like you’re making a square (do not leave too big of a gap between the corners of this square). Place your large bear trap in the middle of your square. Then agro the giga into the trap (you can either do this on foot or on a flying mount). Then quickly place the last billboard at the back of his feet (this needs will finish the square). The Giga can no longer run away or chase after you. Now tranq until it falls asleep **don’t forget your narcotic!**

I was fighting this with my high level argy but i got stuck because of a bug under his belly... i restarted the game, i don't WANT TO LOSE MY DINOS DUE TO STUPID BUGS! If you can't restart your game eventually, don't fight these guys with argy they are so glitchy...

Get 4 metal gates and a argy place the gates in a u then line the giga up with the gates shoot the giga 2 than get on argy up and hope it gets stuck in the u repeat until it’s stuck in the u get in front of the giga on the argy make sure the giga is angry on argy then run behind the giga and place a gate so then its stuck then run off with a metal shield up and now knock it out.

Make 4 bill board trap and a large bear trap. Place three as if they were in a square, (without the last billboard). Lead the giga inside with a flyer and once the giga is stuck in the bear trap you will have a few seconds to place the last billboard behind it. You’re welcome, trapped.

I was just flying down from the mountain to find some oily rocks with my griffin and then a giga spawned right in front of us. That's one heck of an experience. I tried to kite it with darts but it just keeps running away and then I saw another one. Everyday, Ark will make you poop.

For just a lvl 5 these guys can kill alpha rexes but there melee may seem trash but there health can be around 30,000 which makes them good tanks but be carful with there enrage ability.

Giga is the most dangerous Dino I ever saw and it is always a killer!!!!!!!

Take Rhino you will destroy the gigs

I might sound crazy but this is an easy kill if you got a ptera with good health and stamina. All you have to do is keep dive bombing the giga with the barrel roll technique and often times, stop to regain your stamina. With a little patience, you’ll have a giga lying at your feet in no time. At least this was how I killed my first giga.

Just found my first giga which was level 83 in artic ,i ran back to my base to get tons of narcs and went back and the giga was still there,i hit him with my ptera which was named Swift Tail.She was level 146 when i tamed her and now she is level 174..I went on top of a mountain and hit the giga with an arrow to aggro it and then he got stuck in between rocks and i hit him with green arrows for about 9 times and he ran back and he saw a moose(mega something).He started attacking it and i thought it was my chance but i felt off my mountain and my ptera was on stop mode.So i made her in follow mode so that i can escape but what u know,that moose was blown away in one hit and i was blown away in 2 hit(im level 56) and then my ptera got blown away in a few hit cause he was passive mode,yes it was my fault my baby died.

Use a Pulmonoscorpius with high HP and Melee. Easy knockout that way after trapping it

When solo taming make sure you have stimulant on you just incase you accidentally eat the narcotic, cause if you pass out the giga will wake up and eat you

Try an trap it in Dino gaets so it’s stuck

Have somthing fast and has a lot of health. Use a diplo and upgrade health and speed. It already is fast. And give it prime meat
