Wild gigas are more powerful then tamed ones.

Afther place 3 metal dinogate you can lure him by use pretanodon carry any small wild creature lure him to cage and drop it that you carry it while giga stuck in cage dismount and quickly place 1 metal dinogate to complete cage it

This guy's torpidity drains FAST so be constantly inflicting torpidity. Having more than one person helps a ton.

All I have to say is MOTHER F'ER HARD TO TAME OR KILL! I JUST STARTED TRYING AND I STILL END UP ON MY GRAVE.

Use a quetzal with a platform to tranq it from a safe height.

Run and you'll live... Or not. In all seriousness, if you aggro one, try to lead it to other Dino's or if you have a bird then fly off on that.

Since the flyer nerf, quetzals aren't a option & the Tapejara rider doesn't always have their shots counted. We recently tamed a 150 on foot. For those of us who don't have metal traps for these monsters, I offer this advise. Smugglers Pass. It is between two mountains, almost perfectly so kiting it down is a breeze. Depending on your server, this may be taken. But where the first two cliffs open after following the river in, is a giga nigtmare. There are two rock faces you can stand on & fire from. A third if you're willing to dance with an argent or two. While the Giga may run, it will likely become stuck on the numerous rocks, cliffs, and probable pillars if in PVE. Remember, this is a Giga. Light it up. Don't wait five seconds between shots like most. In our experience, it's best to spend every arrow you have, break all of your bows, and then light it up again some. Until that thing hits the ground, it can take more arrows. In the worst case, you save pumping some narcotics.

In the event it breaks in your base (based on recent experience) it's aggro will be hard to draw. Fighting is not recommended, a lvl 20 killed 2 low lvl Giga's, & 200+ 8 Spino's, 10 Rex's, 2 Dragon's amongst other things. If possible break open a part of base and lure it through with birds, drown it. If fighting last resort pop everything to neutral & rain down off Quetz's with arrow's or Dragon breath

I recommend using the hunt giga pursuit to find one and tame it, without using the pursuit I had looked around for about a week and wasn’t able to find one. So if you don't want to spend forever trying to find one, use the pursuit

Place 3 metal dinosaur gateways in a “U” formation, then put a large bear trap in the middle. Next, simply get it to aggro on you and follow you into the trap, once it’s snagged on the bear trap, move behind it and seal off the entrance with a fourth gateway!

I was by the blue obelisk when I found a lvl 1 giga, it had like 83k health and I thought it was a good idea to attack it with my pt R.I.P bob 😭😭😭🙏🙏 he got one tapped and I fell of the mountain tryin to run away from it and died to fall damage bob and I would make frequent trips to the north to kill mammoths and other creatures that drop pelt

don't attack gigas even if they lvl 1

i can understand the extreme flag that he’s getting on health after tamed, but guys…170% dmg=1,000….

When I want to kill one, I use my asendent long neck and tranqs to knock then I use my spino(left at a safe distance) to kill it. Ps you may need to give it narcs as well.

To the person say they will use a quetz with a platform saddle to tame it’s almost impossible to tame with out a trap, I’ve tried and failed so many times.

If taming on rag I recommend they canyon on highlands put down 4metal dinosaur gate ways on each side kite it in then fly and shoot of the back of a griffin bring about 500-1000 narcotics starve once food reached half spam 100-200 in and go kill ovis and let the giga eat the you got a killing machine

If u want to tame gigas, then make a metal behemoth gateway trap. SERIOUSLY! if u don’t, you’ll waste all of your darts chasing it around. It will be a waste of time and resources. What seems like the only way to tame them is to make the trap and knock em out in there. I just barely tamed two gigas using this method. It works really well!!
