If you don’t want to trap one, simply grapple onto its tail or back it can’t attack you then.

If you play on mobile on a easy server you just need 1 of the kibble they eat and a x10 balm that should tame it

If you want to kill it, do so with a high level lightning wyvern (very high and well leveled up), it's totally doable even with normal settings. Avoid close contact though, it still shreds you in seconds.

Sleep next to giga

Shoot the giga until it sleeps

Put food in inventory (use prime meat)

Giga hunger is at 0 bc you slept next to it

I got every thing to tame a giga but I found no giga and I'm scared to do it

I tamed mine by completing hunt dilo mission (which gives you soothing balm). Then I Went to the two snowy mountains in the north. then I shot it with a crossbow With toxicant bow arrows. it only took three meats to tame with the balm and 200 Bio Toxin ( feed every once and a while th Toxin) for you beginners out there or teams. And I highly recommend a tamed Diplo or brontosaurus to follow it when it’s tamed(reinforcements, clearly)
