I tested on a giga lvl 1 and tamed it. Not hard as what I think.
On mobile, just go near to the end of the river(between 2 mountains and close to the sea). Giga is stupid and will stuck between the icebergs and just stand on a really tall iceberg and far from the giga. Shoot it(I used 2 crossbows(about 300 ammo) and 1 longneck(about 20 ammo)) and it will flee (can't escape, will stuck). When it's knocked out. Dont think about anything else just open it's inventory and bring lot of biotoxins or narcotics(will just increase a little, but protect the torpor from the crazy drop).
What you need ro prepare:
Bring more ammo: (if you need 300 to knock it out bring more(about 20% more)) because of it's fast torpor drop. And bring more weapon (in case if 1 of the weapon break)
Need trap: use trap or it will flee and lose almost all of its torpor.
Clear all creatures around it: so they wont kill tou when you dismount and open the giga's inventory (I lost 1 chace and the giga awaked because a rex)
Sometimes PURLOVIA IS THERE: kill that thing first before taming the giga (it can dismount you and you will be giga's food)
Bring a good flyer:
Petra: fast but low health and stam
Argy: high stam but slow and low health
Tape: GECHO ABILITY, medium stam, not slow and not fast either, but low health
Quetzal: high health, high stam and health, fast, but when dismount the rider can fall and some ammo might hit the quetzal

More Giganotosaurus Taming & KO Tips
The things you need to tame a giga:-
1)Flyer (recommending an argy).
2)4-5 dinosaur metal gateways.
3)1-2 large bear traps.
4)10x soothing balm if your playing on mobile.
5)Your KO weapon (most recommended are ascendant longneck rifle or ascendant crossbow).
6)Your KO ammo (bring a decent amount).
7)Taming food of your choice (most recommended is raw prime meat or kibble if you can).
8)Decent amount of narcotics or bio toxin.
FIND GIGA: gigas usually spawn at mountains. On the island try looking around the volcano or the two mountains in the snow area.
SET YOUR TRAP: take 3 of your metal gateways and make this shape \_/ then put a large bear trap or 2 in the middle. Itโs easier if you build the trap on flat ground.
TRAP THE GIGA: get the giga to follow you and make it go inside the trap, then make sure itโs caught in the bear trap. When itโs stuck in the bear trap go behind it and complete the trap with another gateway. The final shape of the trap looks like a Trapezoidal.
KO THE GIGA: even a low level giga has a lot of torpor and it drops fast so keep shooting no matter what. Itโs recommended for a tribe-mate to help you.
START FEEDING: put the food in the gigaโs inventory and keep an eye on itโs torpor.

Many a tribe have been foolish enough to think they could fight a wild giga with a tamed and ended up with a dead giga. Don't be them.
I was looking to metal to make a saddle then I said to my brother โi am going to tame a gigaโ as a joke. Not even 10 seconds later a level 55 giga came into view. KEEP IN MIND WE ARE ONLY LEVEL 40!! We are gonna tame it tomorrow with arrows since we donโt have tranq darts๐ wish us luck!
Make 4 metal dino gates and 1 large bear trap. Place three frames and door into an incomplete square and the large bear trap in the I between them. Lure the Giga into the trap and while its trapped place 4th down to make the square. Then just light it up with tranqs
Just lure into a metal gate set ups some plant Xs and it will knock out you welcome
I 100% recommend charging straight on a Giga with a wooden club, you wonโt regret it.

It takes about 5000 stone and 125 slingshots to knock one out

I knocked one out with a HUGE amount of froggoโs I started with 35 frogs all level 100-150 and by the time he fell I had 4 frogs one ^ is a frog memory!
If you're low on metals or want a trap that doesn't cost too much then use metal billboards. They work the same as metal gates and basically just cheaper. Be sure to use large bear traps tho.
