Very easy tame just use a slingshot 15 stones is the amount of ammo for the slingshot to knock out the giga and give it a stack of Mejoberries no traps needed

I play single player on the island and in creative mode so I went giga hunting and I found a white one at the mounting at the obilisk so i tamed it with a longneck Ruffin and raw meat

I put a taming tutorial on the Carcha so its time for the giga! So you will need a flyer, (Argy or tanky Rhyniognatha recommended) some metal gates and bear traps (Use Giant bear traps because the vanilla giga can't break metal) ok so put the metal gates around in a circle (or square) just like the carcha but leave a open area so you can lead the giga in, place the bear traps all around the middle to trap it multiple times,Lead the Giga in and shoot it with tranquilizer darts from a long neck rifle,once it knocks out put meat inside (you can put any meat in but prime meat to Mutton to cooked mutton is recommended) once it tames bring it back home and you got yourself a giga!
