the most op way to tame a giga is with a glitched mêle basilisk and bite it until it’s knocked out works every time

Here is a tip on how you can easily tame a Giga. All you need is a tranquilizer gun or crossbow and a Sinomacrobs. Just fly over him and shoot. That's all. No trap and no stress.

Narcoberries are easier to get, each one lasts 3 seconds and gives 7.5 torpor. 150 narcotics gives me 15 minutes of a torpor rise. 1000 thousand is... is a lot of time. Don’t tame Giga it’s shit T-Rex is better at high level. The stats of Giga is nerfed 80% when tamed.
