Ok I've seen several tips like run but that doesn't help your dinos or base :_: . So here's my simple steps process to lure it away from your base. 1st hop in water and swim down if shallow run under rocks and stuff. 2nd find unneighborly neighbors. Run by their house and place a tamed dodo or easy animal adjacent to the wall. Wait for the giga to wreck m. Remember stay far away. And take your reward.

Don't use a long neck to knock it out. A crossbow is much more effective because of its shorter reload time. Using a long neck will waste a ton of tranq darts.

I met one once I died instantly don't even try to kill it just run whilst putting late bear traps

An easy way to tame/knockout a giga is to, craft 4 metal dinosaur gateways with a large bear trap. You place 3 of the gateways in a square shape spread a few inches from each other. Then place the large bear trap in the middle. Then with an argy or ptera pick up a dodo and lure the giga into the center of the gates to get trapped by the trap then jump off and place the last Dino gate in the open area and the giga will be trapped and able to shoot and tamed:)

Do not attempt to kill a wild giga unless you have a tamed Titanasour or a flying tame with multiple arrows. It would be much easier to tame than kill!!!

If fighting is an absolute must, wyverns seem to be good and keeping them away with their wing beating. 2 wyverns on beating (preferably fire or lightning) and 2 on breath attack duty (preferably fire or lighting)

When stamina is low, switch the jobs of the wyverns

Do not swim with your giga they do not like that don't swim to carno island may kill it

So the beat way to tame a giga would be to use the grapple hook. It allows you to hang over the giga and keep his attention on you and not other dinos around you. You want to either use a quetz or argy and have a buddy fly it. Also once the giga is down allow his torpor to drop to the last bit and pump him full of narcotics using the amount the app specifies. It will save you a lot of trouble and you can literally go do anything else for a solid hour.

I fell off a cliff with my trike and I didn’t see anything because it was dark and next thing I know a giga kills me and run back fearing for my trike and as soon as good there it dies I was vary sad and has since not found the body but the is a grave by my base

This method works great for taming! Knocked out WAY faster! Save your tranqs! Not worth the amount of time and resources you use for tranqs!

Use 2 metal dino gateways with doors, 2 metal behemoth gates with doors, and 4 large bear traps to keep it trapped long enough to close the door

Keep just enough space for you to squeeze your character through the cracks

It'll be too busy attacking the structure and you can walk right up to it with a magnifying glass at it's foot

Sit in front of it with your quetz at a safe distance and aim for its head

Feed mutton for quick taming if you don't have kibble, but on most servers, you should let it starve a little first for best effectiveness

We tamed ours on Just Survive cluster Ragnarock on ps4 ^^

Guys there’s a lvl 45 above my base idk if I should take or kill it like if I should tame it

If I were you guys I would use arrows and Mastercraft or ascendant crossbow cuz of reload timer

Tamed this little sucker with no trap I don’t recommend it

People who say YOU NEED to knock these out they are WRONG! You need to go up to it and hit it with a club an it will instantly tame. Up so noobs can see.

Don’t listen to people... don’t grapple to their butt to kill them it killed me and I couldn’t retrieve my item bag so it decomposed and I lost my 177 long neck with 400 darts🥲

Normal narcoberries are cheaper then narcotics

I saw one of these and I play mobile I flew over it it had 80,000 health and it was a level one and it but my argy and took half of its health

I was having fun and troubling a giga (don’t ask me why) and this mtf killed us one up one prayer for unnamed tapejara ( my most fav Dino and he had my heart) lvl 54

BOOM! HOW TO SINGLE-SHOT TAME GIGAS:

(PRO TIP: USE A GIGA TRAP, 4 METAL DINO GATES AND USE A BARY OR RAPTOR TO TRAP IT BY ITS FEET!)

1. Get a super low lvl Giga (I did lvl 1 cuz I'm a dummy)

2. Quetzal Kibble or prime meat. RECOMMENDED QUETZAL KIBBLE

3. KO Giga

4. 10X SB or higher and shove bio toxin down it's throat

5. U a pro now. Now all of China knows you're here!
