Giga's are easily drowned and are extremely slow in water leaving them open for attacks

My friend and I found one at the canyon near the hidden lake, and your best best is to make as many tranq darts/arrows as you can. One method is toride a quetz, dismount and don't fall off and you will be fine, or you can use the Dino gate method where you make metal Dino gates and a large bear trap. Lead it into the large bear trap and then surround it with the Dino gates and shoot it safely through the top. Hope this helps as much as it helped me 🙂

When taming a giga double the amount of tranq arrows the dododex say I tame a giga everyday on our server I know the spawn patterns and the amount of tranqs are always wrong it's double and sometimes even more in triple digit gigas

The best way to knock out a Giganotosaurus is to use a Quetzal with a platform saddle, have 1 player flying and have 2 or 3 on the platform shooting tranq arrows or tranq darts down at the Giganotosaurus, once it is unconscious have 1 of your players killing wild dinos on a good meat collector like a rex or spino and keep bringing raw prime to the Giganotosaurus, I recommend having a few stacks of raw meat incase you run out of raw prime meat, while you have 1 player out getting prime meat have another player feeding it narcotics when it's torpor is low, also place spikes around it to make sure wild dinos can't attack it so it don't get attacked so you keep your taming effectivnes up so you get extra levels once tamed. Once you have tamed your Giganotosaurus have a tribe member fly over to you with the saddle as I don't recommend having keeping the saddle on you while taming because your a big target for people to attack while taming a Giganotosaurus on a pvp server. Get 4 stone gates and gate ways many people think tranquil darts are good but they suck the long neck takes way to long to reload and by the time u shoot agian it's torp is gone use tranquil arrows and make sure to have at least 2 tribe mates with u and of course bring plenty of narcotic have fun taming

Test have shown that gigas are hard to tame solo but if u have to if u place down 3 metal Dino doors and place a large bear trap inside the doors center. Have it follow u in run out place last door then blast with tranqs. That's the easiest method in my oppinion

Make sire you have more than person helping you. Don't try to solo tame. Must have a questzal before you tame. 1 flyer 2 shooters. And if you need get help from another tribe.

Also when tranqing tranq non stop if stop or chase for more than 30 sec half or more of what you just did went down the drain 3 ppl knock it out quick def need quetz head shots are barely better than body shots if u have a giga with 40000+ health and 40000+ dmg aka imprinted then u can kill a lvl 1-16 wild gig if ur on a hill facing down at it but I still wouldn't risk it due to rage effect gigs r def not slow don't fight a giga good luck out the -ALONEARKER

Many people go into the game with a decent amount of narcotic that's their mistake you need a lot and I mean a lot. The giga is like an addict it loves narcotic and I recommend you have more then 2/3 tribe mates helping to knock it down. Good luck survives you'll need it.

Make sure to have an argentavis pick you up and u tranquilize it while your picked up

To knock it out you get it stuck in between 4 metal Dino gates. How do you do this is have at least u and a friend. What you do is put up 3 gates in a square shape. Fly a bird and have the giga follow you. Make it run to the trap and once it is in the trap use a friend to put up the other gate to stop it from getting out. Don't use a gate just the frame. Than you just tranq it while it is stuck. Easy peezy!!!

The best way to tame a giganotosaurus is to make 4 metal gateways and a large bear trap have two people one to make it follow him into the trap and one to place down the final gateway behind the giga this can also be done with 1 player but is dangerous.

You can solo down them if you have a quetz. Trap gigs into any kind of rock and shoot arrows once stuck. Best way

Use metal dinosaur gates and bear traps to trap it if you cant get these lead it somewhere where you can get it stuck and I recommend taming it with 3 or more players so one can fly if it trust to run while the others shoot and if your meat taming have preserving bens or a fridge to store prime

You can use 4 Stone Behemoth Gates as a trap don't bother wasting the Metal Works just the same

I very easy way to knock out the giganotosaurus is to find a good area you would like to tame him in then kite him close to the area. Once that is done do a U shape with small metal gateways(no doors required). Put a large bear trap in the middle, kite the giga into the cube and he will get stuck on the bear trap for roughly 10seconds, quickly fly around the giga to the back but nake sure your out of his bite range because it can be deadly, then place the last metal gate closing up the u shape and making it a square . After you finish traping him you need to knock him out from a far distance away for from a qeutzal platform,which i usually perfer. After you knock him out make sure to pump him full of narcs after a minute or two ir he will wake up.

Best way to tame them from my experience on the island is to use metal behemoth gates to make a taming pen. Or to use stone (be aware it may break before you knock it out, so bring spares and get ready to risk life and limb), and shoot from a Quetz platform saddle. Bring lots of arrows, narcs and Kibble (if you're taming solo), and preferably a lot of cross bows or just a high damage journey+ one.

If you are having trouble knocking this animal out by your self,try having more people help you out. The best animal to help with this is a questzal with a plateform saddle so you can stand on the plateform and knock it out.

Have 10 stone Dino gates and gateways place 7 leaving enough space for the gigs to walk in have the gigs agri someone while the other person places the gates up the tribes builds on personally owned then the person who built the gates leaves the tribe so the gigs won't agro on the gates and destroy them Good Luck
