If u run out of arrows after 506 use a cattle prod it works I did it

Surprisenly easy to tame only 251 tranqz with crossbow and on a 2x tame speed day its only a 3h tame my 135 pteranodon was 2h

Two Person taming:

You need: around 30 Spike walls, an Argent, grappling hooks

One of you takes the Argent, the other one shoots a grappling hook on the head of the Argent, now just fly over the Giga and Trank it out! build spikes around it amf Make sure that one of you always Looks after the Giga while the other one flys over to the snow biom, spots an Ovis and drags it over to the Giga. wait until the food drained enough VOILAA you got yourself a Giga (sometimes one Ovis ist not enough)

ON 2x a LVL 50 giga needed almost 400 narcotics to keep it down. Plus with ARC, not all hits register for torpor purposes so i used almost 420 tranq darts. Dododex said it would take 179. This giga was in a trap.

I spent 2 hours looking for a giga and when I tamed it the dumb thing fell in the water and go eaten.

U can just lead through a bunch of tripwires lol

Always tame these bad boys 100 plus anything lower sucks also raising these may tame forever but it’s worth it

Me and my tribe have 32 gigas 3 titans and 5 questlez and 12 Rex’s so we can fight any giga plus we got tech so u can fight them with tames

Just encountered a 145 on Raganrock. I just ran the other way. And gave up my base to the heavenly beast. As a watched from afar on my pterodon, my base become no longer... I guess it is time to rebuild in a different base.

These Dino’s are just as friendly as your average dodo. If you see on shoot one tranq right in the butt. Then it will fear you and come running over to await orders. Don’t run away just sit and wait for your new Dino Buddy.

Pick up a dino with your bird to use as bait. The giga will agro on your bait even though you are above its reach. Then you can safely lure it into your gateway and beartrap trap.

There calc is off pumped 100 trank rounds into it and didnt go down lvl 12 giga

You don't need any narcotics to tame this if you use low level scorpion to stop the torpor drain. Recommended for low level egg producers.

U can use high quality crossbows or longnecks to knock it out.
