Here's a tip that isn't about milk.
-Gathering
They are pretty good at collecting berries and thatch, but they collect small amounts of wood.
There doesn't seem to be any difference in Gathering efficiency no matter which attack you use.
-Combat
It has 3 attacks. Press the crouch button to switch modes(Head up or Head Down mode).
Main attack: It flails its head and does some knockback.
Secondary 1(Head up mode): It jumps up and does a hard headbutt. Does the same damage as head down mode, but It has a longer cooldown. Does increased damage while running.
Secondary 2(Head down mode): It lifts up and flings small to medium sized dinos into the air behind its head. This one is a crowd-clearer and it's spammable. Does increased damage while running.
-Abilities
It gets faster the longer it runs, just like a dire bear. Its acceleration is quick though. Only secondary attacks do increased damage while running.(Full sprint attacks can do triple damage).
They swim very slowly, but their stamina also drains surprisingly slow, so don't panic if you fall in water.
More Bison Utility Tips
When breeding atleast 2 female bison cyropod any males you get at birth (unless you only get males, then leave 1) and raise all the females to adult. That way if no females can mate and no young bison around but you need the milk you can uncyro a male until to get them produce milk, its better to cryo males because if you raise the females you can produce more milk. Also you dont need to go kidnap wild bison kids so saves time too.

Its here! It is finally here! The bison is found specifically on a new island far north and east. It is a spot in the highlands where gigas do not spawn. The bison has 2 modes. Head up, and head down. Head up allows the bison to do a jumping attack while head down allows the bison to throw enemies. Note that the throwing has a limit and you can throw a giga back less than a roof away. The bison has a milk that is the same as wyvern milk and can substitute it in recipies. The bison is midgame to late game. The bison spawn in groups of four and use a direwolfβs pack bonus. Hope this helps!

Always have a baby bison in cryofridge. Pop it out, collect milk from your farm of females, and then put it away again. Repeat every hour as needed while raising wyverns.
When asked for imprint, the milk gives an extra 9% of maturation. Even after 100% imprint, just like the birthday cakes.
Why nobody talks about this?
Have multiple females close and cryopod a baby-juvenile bison because when a baby is near a female she produces 1 milk every hour.

These are great for Ragnarok. My reasoning is because the females substitute their milk for wyvern milk, and they spawn RIGHT NEXT to the biggest wyvern nest Ragnarok has, up in the top right of the main island in the volcano. And there are also some good base sites there, so all around great area to get a wyvern semi-quickly. happy hunting!
So I had a glider on, bison hit me, I start levitating upward, wouldn't stop floating untill I died.
