It is a really annoying tame in my opinion.

First you’ll need to gather a bunch of ascendent or even mastercraft gear.

Next you’ll need to get yourself some really good gear. Armor durability doesn’t seam to matter because I had armor with almost 1000 durability and it got destroyed so if you’d rather, just equip a few at a time. I also used a really good ascendant metal shield, which lasted me my whole taming process.

After you have your gear, you’ll need to find the one you want to tame.

Once you find it, you’ll need to agro it and wait for it to do the move where it starts spraying blobs at you. For me I didn’t take any damage while I was blocking with my metal shield but I did have to stop blocking and let it damage me to get the three blob stacks that I needed.

Once you have the three stacks, it will inhale you and that is when you’ll need to drop high rarity gear to knock it out. For me taming a lvl 100 it only took about two pieces of ascendent gear to knock it out each time but you’ll have to repeat this a few times so bring a lot of gear.

After it’s knocked out, you’ll need to hop on its back and ride it. Once you’re on it, it will spin a resource wheel to decide what resource you need to harvest. If if requires meat or other drops from creatures, you’ll need to kill it using the blob spray ability or have a friend kill the creature and then you’ll need to inhale the body. It will do this three times per cycle.

You’ll need to do this whole thing multiple times in order to fully tame it.

Also mine died literally five minutes after I tamed it to a lvl 100 lightning stego on the volcano island on Astraeos.
