I just read on the wiki that there is a glitch when breeding a Ferox while you have one on your shoulder. Something about them dissolving. I read that after I just tamed 3 145 females (curiously, all with the same color scheme.) I think the glitch can also make them multiply. Before I began taming I went through the area and noted all the other Ferox in the area, (ther was one other male, a lvl 24) killed all the predators, just made sure the area was generally safe. There was the male Ferox, 3 doedics, 2 kangas and a megatherium and that was it. Began taming the red little cutie and after she got to 30% I checked the taming tracker and there was 2 lvl 145s and a 130 that was 1,200 meters away. The not 2 females were within 10 meters of each other with the same taming percent. After I got on of the to 60% and checked the taming tracker. Now there was three. I guess they could have wandered in but they were all females with the same color scheme and the taming percent. Either way, it made me happy. I have 3 lvl 217 red beauties now. Just need to think of a good name for the pack.
