Cool fan idea!
Psittacosaurus
Wild
The Psittacosaurus spends its time on beaches, eating stones and berries with their parrot-like beak. They also collect Wood, thatch, and fiber to build their nests, when survivors help them do this, they seem to become friendlier towards them.
Domesticated
The Psittacosaurus is quick on land and in water, it can scoop up fish with its beak and place it in baskets. On land it can pick up stones and gets lots of berries and fiber from bushes. It can also camouflage in the brush, so larger Dino’s won’t find it. They can also detect enemy players and high level Dino’s (Near max level with your server’s stats) It is a great tame to have to collect fish, get fiber, camouflage, and detect enemies. -RedPanda
The Obelisk
-Chapter 42-
A thin, wiry Terror bird stood at the entrance to the hidden Ruins, pure anger etched acrossed his face.
“Oh no,” Spark breathed.
“What?” Nyx asked. “Oh no what?”
“Greetings,” Blazeheart said from among the crowd, shouldering his way through to him “Is there something you need?”
“You cannot evade our law, Brightheart.” He growled.
“What have I done wrong now,” he said, glancing wryly at the carnivores around. Chuckles stretched through the crowd.
“Blazeheart does not concern us,” said another, new voice. A strong looking second Terror bird entered, her feathers ruffled and her frown deep. “We,” she shouted, her voice echoing through the Ruins—“are looking for a few someone’s. If you can help us find them—you will be rewarded. And you may continue with your idiotic fluttering about to music.”
“Since when have you cared about our festivals?” Demanded a female voice form the crowd.
“Who exactly are you looking for, General?” Asked Blazeheart.
She stared at him. “The Five,” she yelled to the crowd.
“The Five?” Nyx echoed with awe. She glanced around excitedly. “Really?”
“Yes,” The General said.
“What do you want with them?” Asked another voice. A burly Thylacoleo leapt into the crowd to glare at the two Terror birds.
“They are dangerous,” spat the skinny Terror bird.
Several outraged yells erupted from the crowd. The general scowled at them. “SILENCE!”
…
“Find these Five,” she said. “And you will be rewarded! That’s all we ask! Now!”
“Why would they be here?” Whispered a few voices.
“They could be anyone,” said a few more. “So many kinds in here…”
“Start looking!”
Forest poked Sparks tail, and she nodded quietly. Crimson and Rust backed up with them, and they carefully searched for another exit.
There. A small crumbling hole in the building—just big enough for them to fit one by one.
The Terror birds were searching the group. They were getting closer. Certain creatures stared at them—a few whispering suspiciously. Forest tried to back from their vision—but tripped.
And once again—for the second, stupid, clumsy time—he fell right into a Terror bird.
“What—Excuse me?” The general barked.
“Sorry, sorry, sorry,” it wasn’t Forest who said it. A colorful, familiar Shadowmane pushed through the crowd to help lift Forest up. It was Nyx. “Sorry General, we’re searching, don’t worry.” She inclined her head politely and dragged Forest away, right towards the hole where his friends were waiting.
“Let’s get you guys out of here,” Nyx said. “Before they figure it out.”
Spark squished through the hole and disappeared. She beckoned for Crimson and Rust, and they both tried to dive through at once, but just got stuck and squeezed passed each other, muttering.
Forest was next. He leapt through.
And right behind him: Nyx.
“I know a spot where you can hide,” she said. Something clicked at the back of Forest brain. But there wasn’t enough time to evaluate. He heard voices coming.
Someone had spotted them.
Valguero's guardian, chapter two:
In the morning, after several days of walking and searching, they continued walking. "So... you're a shapeshifter?" The human boy said. "Yes. What of it?" Aderyn said. "Nothing... I've just never met one before." The boy said. Aderyn scoffed. "Because your kind killed most of us off." She said. "I'm sorry." He said, yet again. "Stop apologizing. There's nothing you can do about it." Aderyn said. "Okay." The boy sighed. After a long time of walking later, they humans tired. One of the girls sighed, bored. The youngest girl appeared to be falling asleep. The boy picked her up and put her on his shoulders, continuing to walk. At least some humans care for each other... Aderyn thought. "Uh... wolf... girl? Whatever your name is?" The boy said. "It's Aderyn... and what." She said. "Since you're a shapeshifter... and stuff... can't you just turn into a big creature and carry us? Like a wyvern... or a griffin... or something?" He asked. "I said I'd help you find the way out of here. Not carry you there. No." She growled. "Fine..." The boy sighed.
"Not that it matters... but what are your names?" Aderyn asked. "I'm Kade, and these are my sisters, Ailsa and Quinn." The boy said. Aderyn huffed, acknowledging Kade.
LATER...
"Here's a good spot to rest for tonight." Aderyn said. Kade started a fire, while Ailsa and Quinn had already fallen asleep.
Aderyn leaned against the cave wall, and Kade sat next to her, his arms crossed.
"So... why are you down here?" He asked.
"I... I'm the guardian of this place. I've been here my whole life. Which... is seventeen years." Aderyn said. "I'm seventeen too." Kade said. "Hm." Aderyn grunted. "What did you mean when you said I was the chosen one?" He asked. "Well... once in every guardian's lifetime... there's a human that is destined to befriend them." She replied. "And how do you know that's me?" Kade asked. Aderyn gustured to his bracelet with her paw. "Your bracelet. That's always been the sign of the chosen one." She said. "Do you... think we could be friends?" He asked quietly. "Perhaps..." She replied thoughtfully. "We aren't so different, you know." Kade said. "How so?" Aderyn asked. "Your family's dead, my parents are dead. The humans are trying to kill me, their trying to kill you too. The humans took over my home, their trying to take over yours too." He replied. "At least you aren't alone..." Aderyn said. "You don't have to be." Kade said, blushing slightly. "Just... go to sleep." Aderyn said.
PART THREE SOON!! (By the way, Sangtoaregirl here!)
Valguero's guardian, chapter one:
Aderyn shot poison at the humans, in her basilisk form. One of the small human girls screamed, fear in her eyes. The other yelled, "What was that?!"
Aderyn ran out in her manticore form, snarling.
The boy human screamed and shouted at the girls, whom he seemed to care for. "RUN!!" He screamed.
Aderyn began to chase them all the way down to the swamp, cornering them. But then she noticed something. The human's bracelet. "You’re... the chosen one..." She said, astonished. She turned to walk away, setting her paws in the cold swamp water. Aderyn heard the boy human following behind her, his feet squishing in the marshy water. "What is that supposed to mean?!" He asked, slightly annoyed. "It doesn't matter, I don't believe in those stupid legends anyways." Aderyn said. The humans all followed behind her, and she huffed annoyedly. "But what do you mean?!" The boy human asked. "I said, it doesn't matter!!" Aderyn said, a growl at the edge of her voice. "You can't just tell me I'm 'The Chosen One' and walk away!" The boy human said. "Get out of here, or I'll kill you myself..." Aderyn said, growling. "We don't know HOW to get out... we're trapped here." The boy said. "Well, neither do I, human. So skedaddle." She said, annoyed. "Maybe we can help each other get out, then." The boy pushed. "I can’t leave anyways, boy." She growled.
"Why not?" The human boy asked.
"None of your business." Aderyn said. "Why are you so angry?! Why do you stroll around like you own the place, and then try to kill us!?" The boy screamed angrily.
"Because you humans come down here every month, and you steal my prey! I haven't eaten in a YEAR! YOU STROLL DOWN HERE LIKE YOU OWN THE PLACE, AND THEN YOU KILLED MY PACK! THIS. IS. MY. TERRITORY." Aderyn screamed back, furious. "...Oh. I'm... sorry." The boy said. "I don't need your pathetic sympathy. Just leave me alone." Aderyn said. "But... we need your help. To get out of here." He said. "I said NO." She growled. "We won't be any trouble, please... just help me and my siblings. Help us find somewhere safe. Our parents are dead. Our home is gone. People are trying to kill us." The boy said.
"Humans...? Trying to kill their own kind? Disgusting... Fine. I'll help you. But never again do you ever set foot down here." Aderyn said. "Thank you... and we won't." The boy replied. They kept walking for several days after that, barely talking.
CHAPTER TWO SOON!!
The tale of the shadow phoenixes
Chapter twenty nine.
There was a double wedding a few weeks later. It was a joyous day(for mostly everyone). Bella held the pillow with the rings on it gently in her mouth. Arianna and James and Tom and Leah were married that day. Cole watched as Arianna’s father led the girl he lived down the aisle. She was wearing a long white dress and veil. Marvelo led her to James, then she and James clasped hand and gazed into each other’s eyes. Anger filled Cole’s heart as he watched his best friend marry the girl he loved. He clenched his fists in rage. How DARE James?! And James was his best friend..and he did THiS! He knew that Cole liked Arianna and yet…he married her. His parents had been right. The Riddles were trouble.
A few months later….
Peter sat at his desk in his room. The house was as silent as a tomb. Leah was moving to her new house, wherever that was and Cole was very moody. A knock sounded on his door suddenly. Peter crossed the rooms and opened it. James Riddle stood there, with his dog Bella at his side. “Hey James.” Peter said. James smiled. “Hey, I was wondering…we’re leaving by canoe and Bella can’t sit in a canoe…would you mind taking care of her until Tom leaves. He’ll take Bella with him.” James asked. Peter shrugged. “Sure.”
Tom and Leah and James and Arianna had stayed in Riverbend city until finally they left to become the kings and queens of the shadow phoenixes kingdom. Instead of traveling on foot or by equus they decided to travel by canoe which was faster. Leah, James, and Arianna were going to sail across the lake into the ocean till they came to the shadow phoenixes kingdom. Tom was staying behind for a few days to gather up the rest of their stuff and Bella. Tom stood on the shore as their canoe began to paddle away.
James paddled the boat, with Arianna and Leah sitting in front of him. Sitting at James side was his sword sheathed. All was well…for a while. Suddenly a humming voice pierced the air. Then more voices joined in, all humming together. James for a strange reason he could not explain stopped paddling. The humming grew louder. Heads popped up from underwater and Sirens emerged. Beautiful Sirens with lovely voices and flowing shiny hair. They continued to vocalize. James froze unable to move. Arianna turned to him. “James we need to go!” She said. Arianna began to shake him, waking him slightly from the trance. The Sirens hissed angrily. A splash sounded behind them. Leah screamed. She was pulled from the boat by sirens. They plunged Leah underwater and held her there. Two more went to grab Arianna. “James!” She called. James was frozen. His mind was moving but he was unable to move. The things he had read about Sirens so long ago flashed through his mind. “However women are less likely to be hypnotized by a Siren so usually Sirens will go after the women first to get rid of the threat of a woman breaking the hypnotizes.”
“James!” Arianna screamed in a shrill voice. Two Sirens were dragging her off the boat. Something snapped in James’ mind and he unsheathed his sword. James jumped from the boat and began slicing at the Sirens. He stabbed and sliced the Sirens until finally after a lot of slicing the Sirens swam away. James helped a shivering, wet Arianna into the boat. James waded through the water, looking for Leah. “Leah? Leah, where are you?” James called. Suddenly Arianna screamed loudly. A woman floated on the water, her blonde hair spread out and her green eyes lifeless. “James!” Tom called from the shore. Tom was still standing on the shore. He had been unable to help when the Sirens came and he had seen all that had happened….except Leah’s dead body. “Is Leah ok?” Tom asked. James slowly shook his head. “Sh-she didn’t make it. I tried brother, I really did. I-I froze.” James said. Tom’s face turned paler than a ghost and his body shook with grief. Then a change came over his face,Tom’s eyes filled with rage and turned black. His medallion glowed a dark black. “Please brother…don’t do it…” James pleaded desperately. But it was to late,Tom began to transform to a large hulking black beast with eyes filled with anger and sorrow. “A Krakos.” James whispered under his breath. “NOOOOO! JAAAAMMMES!” Tom bellowed in a loud voice. James didn’t know whether to go try to come his brother or flee. Arianna put a hand on his shoulder, her face teary. “James, you can’t help him. We have to go.” She whispered. James reluctantly began to paddle away from his Krakos brother.
They sailed till they got far away from Tom the Krakos so that they could take a break. Arianna buried her face in James’ chest and sobbed for her friend. James gently stroked her hair. “I’m so sorry.” He murmured. “It’s all my fault.”
And so they sailed away, always on the run. Unable to go back to the kingdom because Tom might destroy it. They had some children and then after many years came to a city called Tortuga.
