This is the story of Bruce the Megalodon. His story is told to raise awareness for his PTSD. Bruce was my Megalodon and a war veteran. I went for a walk with him (well a swim), searching for silica pearls. All was going as well as expected until the dreaded moment...
They came out of nowhere, ambushing us. About 10 electros, attacking my Bruce, paralyzing him, not just with electricity but also with fear. To make matters worse, they had recruited megalodon mercenaries to their cause, setting them on Bruce. I shot arrows at the attackers but they were too many... Eventually, Bruce recovered and I seized the opportunity, steering him away from the fight. Bruce survived with only 43 health points out of 916. We went back via a detour, too scared to risk our lives again.
Bruce has physically recovered and is now stronger than before, but psychologically, I fear he may never be the same again...
Raise awareness for Bruce. His story need to be told. Save the Megs!

-Chapter 39-
The Shadowmanes were close.
Forest skidded down the hill and jumped on top of rock, but tripped and fell in his momentum and crashed right into a young Shadowmane.
“Ow! What the—oh, hi!” The Shadowmane stopped and turned to look down at him. She had almost all the colors of the rainbow— blue, pink, purple, yellow— and a bit of black here or there. Forest felt rather embarrassing on the ground, so he slowly sat up.
“What this?” An older, bright green and orange Shadowmane stepped forward.
“I’m so sorry,” Forest said, jumping up.
“It’s OK, Spotfur,” the first Shadowmane said. “He looks harmless.”
I do?
The others caught up from behind, panting. Rust waved, Spark nodded, and Crimson just scowled nervously.
“These are my friends,” Forest said. “We—“
He realized all of the Shadowmanes had stopped now. They were turned and squinted curiously at the newcomers. Whispers eddied through the group. There were lots of them—and least fifteen—if Forest counted right. “We, uh… a friend”—Crimson snorted as he said it—“told me you could help us with something.”
The young Shadowmane bristled with excitement. “Of course! We can help you! Father!” She called. “Some carnivores request assistance!”
“Hault!” Called several voice from behind Forest. He whirled around to see six Terror birds a few talonsteps away, each one big and imposing as they stood tall.
“Hault? On who’s authority?” A deep voice asked form the Shadowmane crowd. Everyone moved out of the way as a large, handsome Shadowmane stepped forward, radiating power.
The terror birds exchanged cautious expressions. “Chief Blazeheart,” one of them greeted. “We are sorry to intrude on your visit.”
“Are these carnivores with you??” A Terror bird demanded.
The Shadowmanes gaze passed Forest, Crimson, Spark and Rust, and he said, “they are now.”
“What—“ the Terri bird was hushed by the others, and one said, “do you know them?”
“I will,” Blazeheart said with a bob of his head. “These young carnivores need assistance, i they have nothing to do with you. I will take them out of your claws and we’ll be on our way.”
“Of course, Blazeheart,” the lead Terror bird bowed slightly, and gestured for the soldiers to follow. “Enjoy your stay.”
As they left, the first Shadowmane said, “Thankyou Father. You must meet these carnivores!”
“I understand you want friends,” Blazeheart said to her. “But first, we must get to know them. And they require our help, apparently?”
“Yes,” Forest said.
“Then you may come with us. We are on our way to the Ruins for our last days stay, and then I may assist you with what you need. You may stay at the back of the group. Nyx, you can escort them.”
The juvenile Shadowmane shuddered happily. “Thankyou, Thankyou, Father!”
“Your welcome.”

Both Loki and Mr. Mo made haste, traveling through the village to find the cause of the fire. As they made their way to the home which was up in flames, they noticed more bodies lined up on the ground, their tongues out and their arms wildly sprawled across the cold snow. The wind made an intense assault and began to push the two forward.
Mr. Mo crouched down to one of the bodies and placed two fingers on the side of his neck. Mr. Mo looked back at Loki with relief written on his face.
“He’s not dead. He’s still breathing!”
Loki rushed to the body and stared at it. Sweat rushed down his face, and he noticed a small trickle of blood slowly making its way down to the boy’s chin. Loki moved his hair to the side and saw a small metal dart with a red plume sticking out his temple.
“Huh? A tranq dart?” Loki realized with a raised eyebrow. Mr. Mo gritted his teeth and yanked the tranq dart off his face. He studied the tip, and then crushed it within his right palm.
“These are Dr. Aston’s tranq darts!” Mr. Mo barked, tossing the metal fragments to the white snow.
“Dr. Aston’s?! You think he did this?” Loki blurted in surprise.
“I don’t think HE did this,” Mr. Mo countered, his face scrunching up and his pupils shrinking. Loki, with sudden realization, clenched his karambits.
“It was Brad!”
The two left the body behind and rushed near the burning house, where they saw two people carrying a strange contraption. It was Brad and Dr. Aston. Water shot out of a strange cannon that extinguished the flames as it made contact. Dr. Aston was sweating, and Brad even moreso.
“Brad! Dr. Aston! What is going on here?!” Mr. Mo demanded with a stride in his steps. He twirled the red pike around in his hands, and Brad let out a visible gulp, letting go of the cannon contraption.
“Uhh, Mr. Mo! Fancy seeing you here! Didn’t think you’d return so fast,” Brad said. His eyes darted to longneck rifles that were laid on the floor. Brad continued, “Uhhh, so about those things you asked us to do… Um, there was a bit of an accident. And so…”
“Accident? Yeah right,” Loki thought as he narrowed his eyes at him. Mr. Mo let out a visible sigh, rubbing his forehead and walking toward the two. Brad let out an “eek!” and stepped back. Dr. Aston looked at Mr. Mo with tired eyes, and saluted him with one hand.
“Greetings sir. I see your trip for the artifact was safe and sound. Did you manage to find it?”
“Yes I did, thanks for asking,” Mr. Mo replied. He nodded toward Loki, “I had Loki to help. So of course it went well.”
Loki smiled.
“So. What exactly happened here?”
Dr. Aston squinted his eyes and turned away for a split second, extinguishing the last of the flames before clicking a button and turning the cannon contraption off. All that was left of the house was a smoldering ruin, and a few remains of what seemed to be beds. Dr. Aston wiped the sweat off his face with his gloves and put his hands on his hips.
“Brad and his friends decided it was a good idea to shoot at each other with the rifles and darts to see what it was like to fall unconscious. One moment led to another, and a torch was knocked over, lighting the house on fire.”
Dr. Aston closed his eyes with sadness.
“I should have stopped them, but I had fallen asleep at my station and couldn’t supervise them. I’m sorry, Mr. Mo.”
“Fallen asleep?” Mr. Mo said with a raised eyebrow, “Don’t tell me you’ve been staying up again…”
“I know I have, but it’s necessary, how else will we-”
“You need your rest. You know that as a scientist! Don’t jeopardize your health for our betterment.”
Brad had his mouth agape and put his arms up in protest.
“How is he supposed to know that if he was asleep?!” Brad argued. Loki glared at him. Dr. Aston pointed at the complex building which towered over the home that had caught up in flames. There was a bullet camera pointed at the home, and it had a single red LED light on the front. Brad’s jaw dropped in shock.
“Since when was that there?!”
Mr. Mo turned to Dr. Aston.
“Go to sleep.”
Dr. Aston sighed, and without argument stumbled away like a zombie.
Mr. Mo turned to Brad.
“As for you…”
Mr. Mo walked forward and leaned down, staring Brad right in the eye. Brad instinctively reached away, his expression changing to one of fear.
“Your eye-”
Mr. Mo slowly reached back with his pike, and Brad geeked at it. But he merely reached back to put it away.
“Don’t do that again. Understood?” Mr. Mo said. Brad let out a sigh of relief.
“Y-Yes Mr. Mo. Understood.”
Mr. Mo got up and away from his face, turning to Loki.
“Come on, Loki. Help take the unconscious to the infirmary. They’ll freeze their fingers off if they stay like that too long.”
Mr. Mo and Loki grabbed a guy each and began to make their way to their infirmary. Loki looked back at Brad, who had a smug look on his face, he grinned, and began to laugh looking at Loki walk away. Loki glared, his mind protesting and telling him to just drop the guy and get him.
But Mr. Mo wouldn’t want that.
As they dropped the bodies off on beds, and nurses made their way to take care of them, Loki turned to Mr. Mo in anger and put his arms in the air.
“Why didn’t you punish him?!” Loki shouted, “That guy can’t just get away with it for nothing! He burnt a house down and caused chaos and turmoil within! And all for a slap on the wrist?!”
Mr. Mo laughed, his eyes looking back at the burnt down house.
“Oh Loki, it's just kids being kids. Don’t stress about it.”
Loki scoffed, rolling his eyes.
“Hate to break it to you dude but all of us were JUST ABOUT TO GRADUATE,” Loki pointed out with a pointed finger, “We’re not kids anymore! We were about to become law-abiding adult citizens of the United Republic of Democracies. There’s a clear difference.”
“But were you?” Mr. Mo said, “Here we are now. People act irrationally sometimes. It’s fear of the unknown. They’ve been through a lot coming here. Just as much as we have.”
Mr. Mo brushed his gray hair back, his implant shining.
“Besides, I might need them for something in the future.”
Loki groaned and stretched his cheeks downward with his hands.
“Ah you’re killing me with this stuff Mr. Mo…”
Mr. Mo let out a heartfelt laugh and slapped his knee.
“Don’t worry son- kiddo. Don’t worry kiddo. Loosen up. I’ll handle it if things go too far. Why don’t you prepare yourself for lunch? I’ll handle the damages done,” Mr. Mo told Loki. Loki sighed.
“Fine. Fine. I’ll go.”
“Great,” Mr. Mo grinned, “Well I’ll see ‘ya around!”
The two parted ways for the rest of the day, and soon night fell again.

Snow shook his head and growled shaking off fear and anxiety. You’re not going to get me that easy. Snow yowled and bounded leaping in the air rolling around and landing on top of the huge crab. The karkinos tried to reach up and grab for snow but it couldn’t reach its razor sharp pincers closed right in front of his muzzle. Hey bard didn’t you say you had some human weapons. Slide under this guy and stab something into its underside.
Bard reached into his belt pulled out a pointed metal dagger. He charged and stuck it in its belly but as he was doing so…

Chapter twenty two.
Cole and Arianna sat at a table at the edge of the forest. They ate their food in awkward silence then just sat there awkwardly. Arianna stared off into the distance, her slim hand laying on the middle of the table. Cole stared at it and was considering takin it into his hands, although bold it seemed. Although they had only known each other for a few months, Cole knew he loved Arianna but did she love him back? He reached for her hand but she moved it. He covered it up by scratching his head.
Arianna felt awkward. First of all she couldn’t understand why in the first place she had agreed to go out with Cole. Sure she liked him…as a friend but nothing more than that. But she knew that Cole liked her more than friends and wanted a relationship more than just friends and..that scared Arianna. But she had trouble saying no to people especially people who were very nice. Oh, Cole why do you have to make friendship so difficult?
Finally the evening ended and Cole walked Arianna home. “Thanks Cole.” Arianna said softly. “Uh…you’re welcome. So…there’s a ice skating thing for the teenagers, would you like to go with me?” Cole asked, a hopeful look on his face. “Um..sorry Cole but I can’t skate and…I have other plans. But I’ll see you around!” Arianna said. Cole looked disappointed. “Oh ok.” She shut the door and headed to her room after bidding her parents goodnight. She hadn’t told Cole but she had also scheduled a music lesson with James, but for some reason she didn’t feel like informing Cole about it.

Under the waves: chapter 11
Pearl woke up, her mind fuzzy. She tried to lift her neck, before letting it fall back to the sea floor as a jolt of pain shot through it, and blood billowed into the water. When pearl looked around, she saw a very nervous bright spot near her, and trench was chatting with an unfamiliar megalodon, who was a dark grey with red stripes and a washed out crimson belly. Trench glanced over at her, before turning back to the megalodon. Then he seemed to realize she was awake, because not even a second later he took a double take, joy written all over his face. “Your awake!” He exclaimed. Pearl gave a small smile. “This is crimson. She’s part of the prophecy too.” He explained. “Crimson, this is pearl.” Crimson examined her, from head to tail. “What’s your ability?” She asked. “I.. can call storms. I think.” Pearl responded, remembering when lightning struck the raft. “You?” “I can fight without injury.” Crimson said. Pearl nodded in approval. A fighter would be useful. “What did you do with the mosa?” She asked. Crimson smiled. “I killed it, of course.” “On your own?” Pearl asked, bewildered. Crimson nodded. Then there was a rumbling sound beneath them, and bright spot straight up panicked. “CAN’T WE GET A 𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗟𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗬 OF PEACE??” Trench roared over the intensifying rumbling. Then, a giant strange creature burst out of the ground, and it spoke. "✯𓇽༆ 𓇽𖣔᯾᯾⁂ ߷𓇽𖣔𖧷𖣔. ⍟Ꙭ✪۞ ߷𓇽𖣔 ᯾☼߷. ߷𓇽𖣔 𖣔✪۞ ⁂⍟ ༆ ⁂༄ 𖧷 ᪥༄𖣔߷ Ꙭ ☼⌘𖧷⁂☼✫𓇽Ꙭ✪𖣘." Then, it was gone, disappeared into a cloud of sand.

Snow looked around there were gems everywhere and there was a big crab. A karkinos. Then snow heard a thump right behind him. He spun around and growled then he noticed bard.
Snow what on earth is that. Bard said. That’s a karkinos. The crab stepped forward. And grabbed snow in its claws. Then threw snow against a wall.
