Not sure if I'm the only one who's noticed, but while they do eat meat, spoiled meat gives more food. This includes for babies.

This creatures actually pay to win. They spawn on valguero and when you tame one it can go into the aberrant zone even though it’s a flyer which is crazy, but you have to leave out of the waterfall entrance because if you try to leave out the front your game will crash.

So flying fire breathing cryofridge… sounds good.

The ranged attacks combined with the dive make the desert titan a cake walk, and are great for killing wyverns during OSDs.

Will kill the wild version of it then you will either have the alter in your Dino’s inventory or you have to access it’s inventory to gain the alter (do not place this in your base) you will then have to offer it things like talons and gigahearts then you will kill the horse the alter spawns and the taming progress will go up

If you can stand close to the side of a cliff face it is 100x easier to kill as the dread will not fly in circles and will usually come closer to you and get stuck on the cliff side.

After killing it, take altar, bring to a cliff, place with front facing outwards. That way, if you dont have the gigahearts, it will send the giga flying off the cliff

Place 5 metal gates over the alter to trap the creatures that spawn.

Kill the dreadmare then it will drop an altar place it and give it a talon of somekind it can also only spawn at night and be tamed at night

You can skip tributes if you do not have the right one but BEWARE! If it asks for a giga heart while taming a 150 dreadmare and you do not have it, it will spawn a 150 giga.

I had most success finding pairs in the sulfur pits near the boarder/sunken Forrest, outside the snow/desert biomes.

YOU CANNOT PLACE ALTERS IN THE CITY OR BIOMES.

For a safe boss battle with the dreadmare/stallions, I use that giant flat pointy rock outside the sunken Forrest. Nothing spawns there.

It does fly around so just stay in place and wait for it to come to you. Once you fight it multiple times you have to click the alter for it to spawn.

If you are playing on a server that allows for creatures from other arks to be transferred in, then by far the best way to kill it is with Reaper kings as their tail Projectiles knock it from the sky and force it to land. Awesome for with either Killing Wild dreadmares To get their alter or during the Taming process

I’ve seen one in extinction but it was glitch and had no collision and couldn’t take damage I didn’t know what was happening

IMPORTANT: if it asks for a sauropod vertebrae, get it or it spawns a goddamn titanosaur. Me and my friend figured this out the hard way

You can find these devils on scorched earth around the area of Latitude 52.9 and Longitude 81.7 at least that’s where I found mine and don’t forget they come out at night!!!

If you do not have the tribute, it will spawn in what it’s asking for and you have to kill it. It’ll give you credit. You only have 4 times to not have the tribute, then the Altar is destroyed.
