In Mobile Edition,they can harvest more obsidian than anky by harvesting rich obsidian

Doedicurus can farm obsidian and will do a 2x the rate of the anky. This depends on which map you're on. Tested on the island. Can't use on the volcano on rag (tested) will test others when I get chance believe it is map or reign dependent.

These things are impossible to kill. Like don’t even try it I sat there attacking for ages and nothing happened.

This animal is a must have. It gets so much obsidion! And it's great for stone harvesting.

Guys they’re not kidding when they say they have a high torpidity drain rate for me it took like 15 normal darts to knock it out

It gathers obsidian better than the anky up. Vote so dododex can see that and change the gathering efficiency

Doedicurus is #1 for gathering obsidion ONLY ON THE ISLAND MAP! On any other map just use the anky

They are mostly found on mountains in the island

Always lvl melee because it increases the amount you get per stone and have a weight argy following to hold the extra stone

November 5th 2018, they still collect obsidian. The best obsidian farmer btw. Better than the anky. Went on a few obsidian run during the charity event.

So I’m lvl 30 on my mobile ark server and i have no tames and just a slingshot the max for my server is 200 so I ko-ed about a 1-10 and I was making a stone base and collecting stone with a stone hatchet I got one of these and it accelerated the stone collection process probably 10x so get one of these ASAP cuz for pvp they are NEEDED (my server is Preadator II medium pvp)

The Doe is a living stone machine. It is the best by far for collecting stone.

Dont try mining obsisian, its a waste of time and resources!!!

The Doed doesn't collect metal. It can't be rated #3 for collecting metal if it only gets stone from metal nodes

He doesn't get obsiden worth a shit, it only ever collects stone no matter the rock you harvest

App says 29 shots, did well over 100. Make sure to bring way too many arrows.

It now reduces weight towards stone in its inventory as of the April or May update. Cheers!!! :D
