How I killed the Dodo Rex (with friends)

It happened about a year ago during the Fear Evolved event. Me and the guys were finally ready. We didn't have a whole pack, just our regular mounts and one specific Raptor we had just hatched. It had a cool blue mutation on its belly, but it was low level, so we put all its points into speed to use it as bait.

We found the DodoRex near the volcano. The game was running perfectly, and the fire looked so real as it started chasing us through the forest. We were all yelling on the headset, trying to lead it toward our Metal Behemoth Trap.

As we got to the entrance, my friend Sarah realized the DodoRex was starting to lose interest. She shouted, "I'll make sure it stays!" and veered her speed-Raptor right into the back of the trap. She whistled it to Passive and stood there. The DodoRex charged in after her and chomped them both instantly. It was a total waste of a mutation, but it worked perfectly. Sarah died and had to respawn at our base.

We slammed the Behemoth Gate shut, and we finally had it boxed in! We stood on the stone pillars and we were shooting the DodoRex, spamming every tranq dart we had. We were all yelling "Keep shooting!" until finally, the monster collapsed.

"How do we get down? Hmmmmmm," I joked. We all pulled our Parachutes and drifted down into the pit. While the rest of us were busy working, Ethan stayed right by the head, constantly spamming even more tranq darts into it just to make sure the torpor stayed up and it didn't wake up.

Since you can only stick one C4 Charge on a body, we put one right on its head. Then, we spent ten minutes covering the entire ground inside the trap with every other C4 we had crafted. It looked like a silver floor.

Once the ground was covered, Ethan stopped shooting and we all scrambled back up to the top of the cliff. Sarah made it back just in time. I said, "KARMA FOR BLUE!" and hit the detonator.

As soon as I clicked it, the game completely froze for a second from the sheer size of the blast. The frame just stuck on a massive ball of fire for a moment before catching up. When the smoke finally cleared, the DodoRex was completely deleted and we had the DodoRex Mask.

We floated back down to the smoking crater and placed a Wooden Sign right in the center that said: "WE KILLED THE DODO REX HERE." Then we all headed back to our base together to treasure our reward and put the mask on a trophy stand.

it was my first day on asa when I first saw this thing. Horrendous, incredibly big. It was standing still near my house, I thought that taming it would be a great a idea, than my dinos came to close to it. Nothing survived it, I tried to restart the save to try to tame it again, it wasn't there anymore.

So when i was 9, I letted my best friend (we always argue) Amelia to play ark on my Nintendo, I told her to just make ONE and no army of Dino’s because I made my alpha raptor (I was in creative using commands, but so was Amelia) have the same stats as the dodorex, She said “Amelia: ok, I won’t!” but guess what, She made made a dodorex AND a army!!! “Me: AMELIA!!!” “Amelia: I’m sorry Sammy, I forgot, I forgot” (no offense, just telling) That one shots my alpha!! I’m gonna need more teeth to equal that.

I heard if you kill a lot of dodo wyverns this guy will spawn

I knocked out one then tamed it !
