If you're on a PVP server a great way to stop attacks is to fill your base with them and so if anyone attacks all the dodos will go crazy crashing the whole server

It's a meat shield noobs tame it about 20 purple berries an 10 to 20 minutes a raptor attack? Itl go for the dodo

Just breed them until you get the 2.0 size dodo and then on mobile give it the cultivator for farming land

IIf you are trying to breed put 1 male and a few females in a tent and watch the breeding bar when at 100%take egg put in another tent with fire throw egg but warning because it will easily die then do wait it says then boom its done if killed will give Prime meat

You can get a ton of eggs from the dodos! (And you don’t have to do anything!)

These dodos on Somme version need to be traced to tether to mate

How to make Sacrifice Dodos: Okay i know... its weird but its gonna save you one day...

Okay so you begin with a male and female dodo, (you can also tame more) then you breed them by setting them to wander in a small cage or in to seprate ones, all you really need is like 3 peices and shove em in there it works real well, then you make them follow you on deadly missions (Remember to only upgrade: Health, Attack, Defence) then when a Giga comes target the giga with your dodos and then run for your life, you might survive :>

WHY IS NO ONE TIPPING?!?! THIS THING GIVES YOU DODO FEATHERS FYI. It’s used to make dodo arrows, which agro an animal when shot. I advise using it when taming creatures that run, like Quetzals. These guys take awhile to breed up to the size required for them to produce these feathers. ANYWAYS, CHEERS TO THE DODO, MY FIRST FRIEND.

Not very good at fighting, too small to ride(except in mobile where you can breed giant battle dodos with fancy attachments to give them special abilities), not very effective gatherers, BUT dodos do have a few uses, they lay eggs better than normal meat and with a much longer spoil timer good for long range traveling, they are quite cute little beasties and can be nice just to keep around, you can also breed fancy dodos as decorative pets and egg producers and in PVP servers these fancy dodos serve a practical purpose: if you have enough fancy enough dodos more strategic and practical enemies will think twice about attacking you as you'll have to have been patient and with plenty of resources if you have all those fancy dodos so you might have stronger thoroughbred beasts for combat, getting ocean loot drops for ascendant weaponry and spelunking and mountaineering for the best resources.

Dodos can be used to run away from creatures, like lets say a rex is chasing you, the dodo can be used as a distraction by simply throwing it to the rex so you can run away now and live happy.

These are the perfect things for starting out on crop-farming. They produce a ton of poop, and they're easy to get

Best early game tame to get eggs to make kibble. Dodo kibble will make getting a high level pteranodon way more simple and less time.

There are 2 good ways I use these birds kibble and putting them near my door inside my house on aggressive that way if someone raids they'll kill it telling me the raiders name so I can get pay back.
