The things you need to tame a dodo

1) Flyer (recommending an argy).

2)4-5 dinosaur metal gateways.

31-2 large bear traps.

4)10x soothing balm if your playing on mobile.

5) Your KO weapon (most recommended are ascendant longneck rifle or ascendant crossbow).

6) Your KO ammo (bring a decent amount).

7) Taming food of your choice (most recommended is raw prime meat or kibble if you can).

8) Decent amount of narcotics or bio toxin.

FIND DODO: dodo usually spawn on beaches.

SET YOUR TRAP: take 3 of your metal gateways and make this shape _ then put a large bear trap or 2 in the middle. It's easier if you build the trap on flat ground.

TRAP THE DODO: get the dodo to follow you and make it go inside the trap, then make sure it's caught in the bear trap. When it's stuck in the bear trap go behind it and complete the trap with another gateway. The final shape of the trap looks like a Trapezoidal.

KO THE DODO: even a low level giga has a lot of torpor and it drops fast so keep shooting no matter what. It's recommended for a tribe-mate to help you.

START FEEDING: put the food in the dodo inventory and keep an eye on it's torpor.

Did you know that in one of the dungeons (mobile) there are giant dodos? It was weird.

If you want to tame it you gotta knock it out in feed it berries. Done

Easy

1. Punch or shoot till knocked out

2. Put lots of berries in it’s inventory

3. Wait

4. Do this with lots of Dodo's to get an army to defeat your greatest foes

P.S. When I say lots of Dodos I mean lots Of dodos

Everyone think too small, don't do dodo 10000, do dodo 1000000 and you have a BEAST THAT CAN ONE SHAOT ALMOST ANYTHING!!!

Just punch it until it decides to sleep and give it berries

Find at least a lvl 15 dodo. Punch it until it is unconscious then feed it them berries

They are easy to tame and make great early game food storage.

Surviving. Pt 2. I woke up as Shadowking squawked at me. He was really hungry, and so was i. I got up and opened my backpack. I got out a few pieces of wood and made a plate and a bowl. I carved the name Shadowking into the bowl. I put berrys in each of the dishes and then put some dried meat in mine. I went out and made 1 more bowl as well as a water skin.i put Shadowking's name on the bowl, filled the waterskin, put water in the water bowl, and filled the water skin again. I put down the food and water bowl for Shadowking, and then started eating my food. I drank and ate all of my stuff. I decided to spend the day gathering and looking at dossiers.

10 hours later, i was off to bed. I had made a dodo bed for Shadowking and put it next to my sleeping bag. End of part 2! Will post again.

Knock him out by punching him. Give him berries (mejoberries are the best, the purple ones). When tamed, he sometimes lays eggs that are very good for feeding you.

I like to tame a bunch of em and keep em round for their eggs like chickens, make a good snack plus they’re cute little fellows

If you want to knock one out then I suggest using your fists and tame around 3 females and 1 male to get the most dodo eggs early game

Do not use a crossbow on dodos it will get one shot one up =one giga for me because I can't find it on Genesis part 2sad

These are extremely aggressive and dangerous, and is harder to tame and stronger than any titan. On average, you’ll need a group of 7 with MEK’s and MSCM’s and 5 backup’s in case one of you get hit. It’s near impossible to tame solo, i’ve heard on average it takes 18 hours, without anything going wrong.

You constantly need to direct MSCM’s to the head to deal torpor, and it has to be hit around 40 times. The thing that is unique about this creature is that the higher the torpor, the more aggressive it becomes. It becomes faster, and deals more damage. When its at 50% torpor, it can one shot most Mek’s. Another thing is that it doesnt torpor run. Its torpor drain is much higher than a giga, so missing a single shot could be punishing. Once knocked out, it’ll lose torpor at double the rate, meaning you’ll need thousands of bio-toxin. It eats exclusively element, around 400. Its not even 24 hours, its 6 hours for balancing reasons and it can send alpha tribes from TEK to thatch within at most 30 minutes. There is no real way to kill it without commands or putting it against the alpha king titan.

When one is tamed, it is announced to the entire server that a dodo has been tamed. If you ever get this notification, and you just so happen to be one high ranking tribe, prepare for cataclysm.

Tame a bunch of these because u can put a c4 on them and drop it into a base, or have a lot of dodo eggs

Dodos are good at helping you get an oviraptor. They produce dodo eggs, which oviraptors eat. You can kill the ones in the wild and harvest raw meat which oviraptors also eat. And remember, to tame and oviraptor first KO it, then feed it eggs and raw meat. Plz like!

If you have to pick up a dodo(a very early tame, likely your first), choose a female. Dodo eggs are able to be made into basic kibble/dodo kibble(depends on the playing platform), which can be used to tame some powerful early tames.

Get them big, it will be worth it(u can ride them man)
