This is probably the most powerful creature in Ark. You probably want to be a high level and have good armor and equipment before confronting one of these. They are pretty rare and are usually found in the ocean or flying around in colder areas.

To get an army of these I would build a house and set them on wander and passive to breed. Then build a storage and fire so you can put the egg into the fire to hatch and put berries in the storage.

To the person who said only tame a few because if you have to kill it just level up a wild one to lvl2,000 and when you tame it it will get a 974 lvl boost.

A lot of people are saying that this creature is very hard to fight. That is true but if you ever find yourself in a tough situation, they have a low torpor level so usually 2 tranq darts are good enough to knock it out then you can escape!

Watch out for Dilophosaurs, they always get in the way when you’re knocking it out or taming these prehistoric chickens. If that’s not the case for you then you’re a lucky son of a mommy!

A very easy to kill creature. It appeares on beaches. You mustn't tame them, because they are useless.

But in you want to tame them, hit them with your fist or something else. DONT USE arrows, because when they have low level, you might kill them instant :-( 😞

And a very good food source if you are a beginner!

If you see one, run the other way. These things kill Gigas, if you want to tame you need to have a titanosaur sacrifice and it’s taming percentage will only go up 0.1 percent. Obviously the most dangerous animal in Ark.

Farm dodo eggs and make a lot of kibble, dodo kibble is pretty easy to make with needing cooked meat and rockarrots, then either tame some high lvl itchthys and pteradons then sell them or their babies.

Breed them then kill da babies to get prime meat

My friend was being silly and said that the dodo he tamed was going to one-shot everything. I named the dodo Featherweight as a result and he's my tribe's mascot. He's also our stud dodo ;) Do he's not for eating. If you happen to meet him, please at least let him live, he's my favorite.

Seriously, there's really no reason to tame one other than it's cute. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Don't waste food by taming them, just pick them up with a ptera and drop them in a pen and you won't have to feed them! Upvote so everyone can see this or else the dodo gods will smite you!
