Can't be carried by crystal wyvern

It can’t be caught in a Bear Trap but it can in a Large Bear Trap

Best utility mount after theri can gather meat and berries also this guy can get 1k weight and almost 900 melee with enough lvls I know this because my bear ( name is teddy the bear) is stronger than my 209 Rex

- Fast, suitable for long travel (be able to catch up gallimimus)

- Has a lot of HP.

- Great DMG (Paw smash deal a high dmg, same as his bite attack)

- Easy meat, hide, fiber, fruits gathering.

DEFINITELY OP CREATURES AT MID / LATE

Bears make an excellent mount for exploring caves. If you can get about 3 high level ones you and other tribemates can explore through most caves with ease. And if you were to get in trouble these bears can run at high speeds so you can escape most predators.

They have created many a murder scene for me: dead terror bird carcasses and a direbear walking away. No witnesses just a theory

The Dire Bear is the most versatile mount in the game as they are small enough to fit in all caves. Their alt attack is also above that of a Rex, and with their sprint being comparable to a gallimus nothing will get away.

With such a low breed timer and they're alternate swing being the same damage as a Rex they make ideal breeding and are great for meat runs very fast and have huge carry weights. A very good tame one of the best in my opinion

Theses things are AMAZING for pvp, many people don't know, but like the woolly rhino, they get a speed and attack buff when running.

This creature is so underrated

They are rlly good! I got one on ark mobile (old vers) and it's rlly good I just finished the hunter cave with it and ngl its rly nice!

1. shoot it with tranq arrows

2. gather raw or raw prime meat if you don't have them

3. Return to the place where you knocked it down just to see it get eaten by terror birds ane carnos.

FIBER MACHINE I use this guy to gather all the bushes in the area and BAM over 5 stacks of fiber also can wreck alpha raptors and carnos which give decent loot And can get up to the 1000s in weight level that up And you have all the metal any time any where

Tip- the higher the level the better

I found a level 150 (max level on the server i play on)

I built a small trap so i could knock it out safely.

Used tranq arrows and a snow owl to heal them as i knocked them out

Only took 7 honey to tame them up with 100% effectiveness (the server is 3x so keep that in mind)

Trap i used- 4 stone foundations, 8 stone door frames, 6 stone fences, and two stone stairs

These guys are insane. It can take on a pack of 4-5 allos like there’s no tomorrow (Descent level of course). I love these guys!

They are almost guaranteed to die if your using a crossbow so I definitely recommend using tranq darts also when trapping try to do a 2x2 rather than a 1x2 as with a 1x2 they can glitch out the trap or sometimes not fit

the amount of dinos i've seen go against wild versions of thia thing is insane. yet 70% of the time, dire bears come out on top. i've seen them beat gigantopithecus, terror birds, and carnotaurus.

High level bears in Ragnarok ice cave can't be tamed. I used heaps of darts to knock out a lvl 300 only for it to not eat my honey >:(

The forebear does not collect honey in mobile ;-; I found this out after 5 hours of trying
