These are gonna replace pteradons as a scout and early tame IMO. a) latching to walls let's you regain stamina and turn invisible during the day. b) 200 blood bags gets you 1 Sanguine Elixir that can only be used once for each creature your taming to increase taming progress by 30%. P.S I think since they fly and latch to walls like tapejara they might be able do ceilings too

Trick to diving sideways:

1) Gain some altitude to avoid hitting objects.

2) Look Straight down while moving right or left.

3) Toggle map on then off without altering directions

4) Speed will begin to hit full dive speed and change desmodus animation to diving.

This helps you traverse the map lightning fast, and reliable gets the speed glitch being mentioned by others to occur and at full speed.

Don't have a breeding section yet but they will eat blood bags off a maewing

They can't pick you off a Andrew with a saddle so just use one to blast the bats you don't want

When taming on official - LURE IT OUT OF THE CAVE FIRST! The anti-mesh doesn't care that you went inside the wall/under the floor only because the wild desmodus pushed you there. So get it outside first and only then let it drag you around as it pleases.

When using a moschops to increase the effectiveness, turn off resource harvesting and make sure to knock down all the trees (if attempting outside of a cave). If not, the moschops will attack the tree if taken nearby by the desmodus, effectively resetting your taming effectiveness back to 50%.

I found that you can use a bat to pick up and tame a daeodon,

which you can use to heal any babies or any creature.

They can breed but be careful you gotta imprint on them quick bc they will fly away if you dobt

Basically a blood Crystal wyvern and a bat had a baby because it grabs or bites things to get blood and you can’t be damaged from the Dino you carrying btw

It CAN'T gather prime meat from corpses! It will get spoiled meat instead

This is kinda a question because when you have the blood packs in your last slot it grabs u it’s like why do u need to be such a high level for the cheap saddle and u can tame it early also do u just run away when it drops you because remember it drops and picks you up every I think 20 seconds so can someone maybe awnser my question

They don't collect hide and aren't to good at collecting meat but they make up for that by making blood bags and collecting spoiled meat from the bodies - wizardchain

I just found out, keep a good shield equipped in your hand, wait for the bat to grab you and wait until you tame it

Bring a few parachutes if you’re doing it outside of caves or near by caves they do drop you more often than expected. If you’re looking to boost efficiency bring a few tames able to be carried by Desmondius.

I tamed a 145 with about 50 blood packs on official rates so 2x and about 3 bats in one sitting while being grabbed over and over after agroing a Hurd of them and tamed all of them since they will keep grabbing you in the air. Defiantly bring med brews and parachutes!!

Net the one u want and kite the rest to a Rex, then tame the netted one when it gets up.

Parachutes are a life saver with this tame. Keeps you from taking damage when it drops you between feeds. Once you tame one, it can supply you with books to tames others.

It is a a blood pack tame I have tamed 4 with it all you need is a nearby bed and have 10-30 I tamed 150 using 37 note my taming is on 3

If wondering how you tame one u first find them kill off the others and keep the one you want and let it pick you up and will fly around in a circle and take the blood pack from your inventory

Abilities: has a shriek that is useful at night because all Dino’s light up with red and blue, next one is that when you bite something u get 1-6 blood packs and the second to last thing is they are very fast and the last thing is if u hold right click you will go INVISIBLE which to me is really cool

Once tames, this things gives you blood bags and Spoiler meat like nobodies business. It may even replace the vulture.
