This is what I've done to tame these

1. Get at least 300 blood packs and drag them into your "0" slot.

2. Make some parachutes. For me they flew up and dropped me so chutes were a must.

3. They are around 7 to 10 second intervals so be patient and stay alert for other threats.

Other than that they're pretty easy tames I would recommend getting a low level first so and farming blood packs with that low level. If you attack other dinos it will give you blood packs if you kill it you will get spoiled meat and raw meat.

Put bloodpack in your last slot and let it grab you .

You migth have to kill the other bat around first.

VERY similar to bloodstalker. Have it pick you while blood bags are in your inventory and you should be good to go. Using other dinos (moschops are recommended) with blood bags in their inventories will work as well

What else do I need to say?

It will probably be passive aggressive it most likely will be passive or neutral in the morning and aggressive at night

I have not seen anybody else say this yet the carcoradontasaurs is coming to ark not in just the new map but all maps so that's cool

I hope it looks like that when it is actually released

I agree with the other person it will likely have echolocation so it helps you track things and it could maybe suck blood from your enemies with a rebuff that does damage over time and it will likely be stronger than a onyc. It could be like a guard or a flying army. Maybe it could even make blood packs from his enemies.

Oh my gosh this is most likely the best cave runners in all of ark it can see creatures at night, become invisible, shoot off it’s back, latch onto walls, and it can fit through almost any cave.

On console multiplayer weve had a glitch where the attack buttons dont work, able to fix this consistently by drawing a weapon and putting it away while mounted

Dont fully understand the glitch but on xbox multiplayer, the desmodus cannot reliably attack or use the invisibility. It started with just second player then we realized it switches back forth and even if only one player is using it sometimes the attacks just dont wont. Havent been able to find any other threads about this

Baby Desmodus eat alot of meat. Raising 3 babys. I had 5000 meat in my maewing and got to 9,6% then the Maewing was empty. Took about 7 hrs or less.

Use this to assist in taming blood stalker it will really help!!!

I've used this Dino for poison and fire wyvern eggs. Rock Drake eggs, and have killed many wyverns these are one of the best if not the best flyers

To tame desmodus take snow owl and go to waterfal cave,take srynge then take blood,then heal with snow owl and after 20 blood,go in cave with spyglass and look for low level,tame it,and attack other creatures to get blood packs then go again in watrtfall cave and tame bigger level one

How to you pick things up with these

When you are using blood packs to tame it use a snow owl to heal you

If you want a high level Desmo, tame a little dino like a moshop and leave him in passive next to a Desmo for it to pick it. Do it some time and it's your turn to be picked

Absolutely insane tame. Pump melee and stamina (and some health) for an absolute destroyer of everything. My girl Velvet has a kill count of 1 giga, 15 alpha raptors, 7 alpha carnos, 4 alpha rexes and 1 alpha basilisk (plus a bunch of rock drakes I killed when stealing eggs)
