You can only tame these through the ‘forcetame’ command

Those things spawn in the sanctuary in Extinction but dont worry, they wont attack you. They only attack dinosaurs

You can’t tame them so there are useless

If you forcetame one, speaking from experience, there’s a little glitch where you can’t move and sink into the ground if you jump off of them after riding

They need to make it so we need to make x amount of devices something to hack them it can be like there kibble every time you try taming it the defense unit destroys the hacking device and you need to grab another before taming goes down if you fail a tame it goes in to self destruct

You can not tame you must KILL!

Guys you cannot take this even with force tame

Go to creative click forcetame

They aren’t tameable don’t even try too tame one unless you use force tame

Why is everyone so worried about these droids if fighting the overseer then you should have full gel gear which means you can fly above them and fight the boss in stead of the minions

These guys self destruct after death by player but if your tame or wild dinos kill it you can harvest its Tech Dino resources. Scrap is better than metal, scrap is 1 to 1 bar where as metal is 2 ore for 1 bar.

Easy way to kill them....use the trike

You should be able to hack these, like you will be able to do in genesis 2 to the stridrs. Does Any1 else agree?

I am wrong! I can't even forcetame these things! This is fully untameable!

I wish we could tame there guys by the way I play on a phone so it's different from a PC

Let's agree, just get a enforcer BP, craft It, then spawn a tamed Defense Unit with the exact same stats, but about 3x the health and throw that enforcer away. Add the unassembled DU NOW

Go to admin commands and type forcetame on any creature

There is a mod called defense unit bb or bp where you can craft them or you can wait for the no untameables mod to update for defense units

All you have to do to get one is either find one and force tame it, or you could just summon in a tamed one, so easy
