To whoever asked:

Go to the maps section of the app: Tap the menu button up top and go to maps, select the map you are playing on, and tap Creature map. Ten, scroll down until you see Creature select. Choose your creature (a thyla, in your case) and go back to the map. It will display the areas and rarity of your creature’s spawn. Hope this helps. You can also choose a resources map or exploration map.

On Ragnarok I had the 'best' surprise ever and encountered one not knowing what the heck was happening I was gathering meat from killing animals and noticed some dust following me I stayed to see what it was and a giant worm appeared and killed my pteranodon and me along with it

You find these things in the open part if the desert in Ragnarok. You really just need a good level Thyla and you should be fine. There a bit overrated, trust me I used to live in the desert. Mantises are tamed with Deathworm horns.

100% don't use herbivores unless you have veggie cakes I learned from experience R.I.P roco

You can find these demons in an ice cave on Ragnarok. I do not recommend going unprepared-

Bruh, y’all takin rexes and wiverns, all u need is some oil jars and flame arrows

Ragnarok’s southeast desert region has them. Look around the base of the big striped mountain a lil bit up the shore. Use a rex or thyla with high stats.

Hands down the best way to kill this is with a megatherium. When you are in the desert make sure you kill a bug to get its bonus and it will shred the deathworm with ease.

There’s a dead one on balhimer, Fjordur.

While playing survival, you get yourself a megatherium, head on over to the dunes, start killing yourself some bugs, use the orbital camera to search out a deathworm. It levels you and your mount SUPER fast. Then you can literally hunt down deathworms. By the way, a high level megatherium can kill a rock golem.... hint hint.

Have a Petra and oil jars and flame arrows when the death worm comes at you set the oil on fire and when it goes under just go to the same spot easy XP or horns

In scorched earth if you go to the dunes they are everywhere

Just grab a flmaethrower or go with your fire wyvern friend if you have one, some healing items, and good armour ofcourse, and there you go, call yourself the DeathWorm annihilater

Travel around the dunes north/northeast of the oasis, you should find plenty of worms. Alphas spawn far more often here than anywhere else it seems, but are still rare. ~ 3 - 8 black pearls for normal worms (not guaranteed drop), 75 black pearls per alpha (guaranteed).

This is based on experience in ASA, no clue how similar ASE spawning is.

Rexes are the usual recommendation for killing worms, but they can go down fast with more than 1 worm at a time if you don’t have backup.

Unless you are leveling Rexes for boss battles, a Procoptodon and a good pump shotgun is top dog here. Hop around the dunes until they find you and then start blasting them in the face. Even with multiple worms, or an alpha, you’re fast enough to run circles around them and get out of attack range. Level weight on your roo and black pearl/hide/keratin storage is barely a concern.

Death worms are a lot easier to kill than I thought just have an argy with pretty good stats and just circle them while attacking I can kill one with only around 1.5k dmg to my argy

These are on Fjordur map in the volcano region (bottom right). It scared the crap outta me!!!
