It’s not the hardest thing to kill.

If you take a creature that has 10,000HP,does 200-300 damage with each hit, and has 80 armor. Shadowmane works great. With 80 armor the deathworm does 27 damage (lvl 1) per hit and has (just guessing) 7,000 HP.

If you have nothing to attack you don't want to know what it is going to do if encountering this ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun for your life or it's over

Best way to kill them is to use your lightning wyvern and zap the sh*t out of them

For the guy who said where to find on crystal isles: It doesn’t spawn on crystal isles. Mantises can’t be tamed on any map other than ragnarok or scorched earth without admin commands.

Zooming out with the orbital cam using L1 on PS5/4 can help find them in the dunes, unless you get lucky and catch a glimpse of one spawning in for a split sec

Less of a tip more of a question, does anyone know how to get black pearls on scorched. I just killed 1 alpha and 2 normal and only got 8 so that isn't gonna work

Don't even try to fight it. Just run. Unless you want to tame a mantism

get this if you kill one just a level 1 you get 6000 xp dude that's insane right so if you want mass amounts of levels kill alot of these things and I checked the wiki to prove it

for the love of god don’t try to kill it with a mana. it takes reduced damage or something, took me an hour to get it to half health with my mana

Just a heads up anybody who telling you to use a rex forget about it. You can you the megatherium or use a thylo if you have either use one or the other but to get in and out of the desert kinda fast use the thylo jump to speed across the dunes. Don't be chump and look at others if you wanna move fast without dying to heat use thylo

This thing got the jump on me and 1 shot me but my maewing somehow managed to kill it so it’s good to always have a high level maewing with you
