This thing is the definition of trauma OK so Iโm a unique ARK player so there are these missions I go through one mission is capture another mission is dispose this mission I was on was capture like Iโm not going to dispose this creature cause letโs be honest the level I was at which was a level 26 I could never dispose of this guy so I go looking for this guy for 100 days no like actually it was 100 days I was looking for him and the day I find him I wasnโt even looking for him. I was looking for a giganotosaurus. It just so happened that I was in the field, where this guy was and what did I do? I decided to sacrifice myself, as well as my creature for studying as well as learning more about him did I know this demon had the ability to have eyes that glow like a paralyzed demon? Well, I did now at the time of finding him and unlike normal creatures. This guy will not leave you alone. He will stalk you till the day youโre dead on the island. I honestly thought he was a modded creature. I was so excited that he wasnโt but I was pissed off because he legitimately came out of nowhere and followed me from the mountains all the way to my base in the beach. Do you know how crazy that is? Thatโs actually crazy and he destroyed everyone and everything.
If youโre an idiot like me you run towards this thing with a dead trike in your hand, you give it to the car, you RUN for your life.

I did it.... I named my Dodo "Carchadontasaurus" and my Carchadontasaurus "Dodo"

JUST TAMED MY FIRST ONE! THIS THING DROVE ME TO INSANITY! But I finally did it. Trap it and drag dead bodies over to it. Sacrificial tames work, a high lvl blood wyv filled up almost his whole bar. If he doesnโt eat drop the body and leave render distance then come back. Then the little taming icon will go green and you can mount it and start killing things to fill taming bar, this part was easy, plenty of time. But I was on 8x rates cause of the extra life event,
Don't tame a low level carcho or disappoint
It was a long day. We had never seen one before, and it looked like the stepbrother of a giga(named kyle), so we tried to knock it out like a giga. Little did we know we were waiting โhoursโ for it to get back up. As you can tell, they are sort of a passive tame, and we found out you had to feed it corpses.
Many sleeping bags and raptor corpses later we got itโs trust meter up and started rampaging. Except one thingโฆWe was in a ravine and there were no dinos around. The taming effectiveness was going down and we had no time.
โThereโs no other choice, I have to sacrifice myselfโ we turned around to see our bronto with tears of love in his eyes. Offer himself up to the ole mighty carchar. It was a brutal sight to see, but out brontoโs sacrifice did not go out in vain!! For behold, You have tamed the CARCHARODONTOSAURUS!!!
