Not trying to be a smartasss but the basilisk is not a passive tame more like violent tame

id recomend using a invisible rock drake throw a shoulder pet or somthig you dont care about indfront of it let the basilisk kill it and then drop the egg on the corpse of the dead animal and watch your new basilik eat up the eggs then its tamed!!!

K i bumped into this thing and my day was finished like its not like killing a titano boa with a master craft sword its getting lucky killing him with heavy turrets I recommend using a quetz with turrets on it. U can use RPGs but no ether way your gonna die from its saliva attack and i ones found a lvl 401 on single player but i had no eggs so i died

If you see a W in the ground don’t go anywhere near it and run away it is one of most dangerous creatures in on Ark survival

Place 4 pillar high with ceiling, then place eggs around pillar. Kite basilisk to pillar and stand on platform. Wear hazsuit as it will spit but cannot directly hit you or bite and will stay agro the whole time

If You want to tame one of these on Crystal Isles It's a pain in the ass to find them but i found the most in the bog area

Dont underestimste the smort sneks.

You should be able to tame with wyvern eggs but it should take like x2 or x3 wyvern eggs then rock Drake or magmasaur eggs. Because wyvern eggs are like a million times easier to get.

Dose 3x torp from what damage it dose Eg 900 goes to 2700 torp to wilds for a fast knock out bite every 8-12 seconds

If you see a plant that looks like 3 sticks RUN

Why let these things Spohn on Crystal Isles when we can’t even tame them like I would understand if they weren’t in the map or if you just plain out can’t tame them but you can but we’re not able to since we have no eggs to do it.

Why we use wyvern eggs

In genesis easily the most annoying thing in the game.

Well I used rock drake eggs I trapped it put 6 of the eggs in that's how it is it

On 3x it's 4 eggs 3 eggs tame only to 97.7 bring 4 eggs

So far I can’t get it to eat Magmasaur eggs

For someone playing genesis as a single map, without cluster to transfer to abberation,

Has anyone tested it these can be tamed on genesis , I’d assume magmasaur eggs if it were possible

If you see one and you have a pet with you it will kill your pet first then go’s for you

Best way, rav with health, Stamina and bump a few on movement speed, place all your eggs out and have the basilisk chase you back and forth past the eggs, just keep duck an weaving past and cause your on a rav it won't deagro meaning top marks on taming effectiveness, remember duck and weave
