The calculator is wrong on 7x it only takes 2 raw meat

Worth making a stone taming pen raft, took no damage , also tamed a lv150 scorpion at the same time and drove home to finish the tame at my base in peace..lovely except it took forever without kibble...

Just stay in the very outside left of the map untill you reach the north, there should be a small penninsula, stegos rexes kentros scorpions and hyenadons seem to spawn there a lot as well, so be careful when doing this. Most of the time there's a war going on at that place also, if you use enough cluster grenades you can clear out almost everything. But if all you find is argees then find the highest one, tranq it, kill the other argees, or tranq them too, tell the highest one (once it's tamed) to stop doing cocaine to get so high, and enjoy your argees. Use Tranq Darts, takes like 4 or 5 to knock out a level 145

Build a small cage to trap them because when they low they will just fly away

Go to the volcano on a pteranodon, then land on a ledge the just unload, don't worry they are quite slow

Great PVE mount since it can't be bola attacked and take more than 1 trans arrow from crossbow to knock out.

I recommend going to the snow biom as there are more argies and they are easier to find in an open space. Make a boat with a flooring 3x3 with a large Dino door and a normal non dragon door opposite it and walls and a ceiling to make a box. Lure the argie in and shut the dino door so it is trapped. Tranq it through the small door so is cant hurt you and when it is down, begin taming then sail away to a safe area.

Build a wooden or stone cage taming pen with Dino gate then lure into the cage and close Dino gate then tranq it out

Can not be bola'd. Relatively easy to knock out with tranq arrows. Shoot it once and get it to agro. Sprint away and shoot, repeat til it starts to run away, 1-2 more arrows should bring it down. Happy taming!

Find one of the hollow logs in redwood forest. block one entrance with pillars and leave your dino there. aggro argy and lead into the other entrance. while it tries to attack your dino block the open end. have fun using the taming pen the game made for you.

They're usually around mountains and I usually go to the top and lure one and tranq it there because I rarely ever see dangerous dinos

Tame at high level much worth the time.

Really simple to tame, just build a trap( all shorter size than rex recommended) and you should be good to go! Although it has a decency to eat too much and run out of stam in mid air and die

Hey guys just an FYI after the flyer nerf don't pump speed anymore into these things you won't be able to run fron the wyvern anymore.

Now that birds speed are nerfed, sink all its point into weight for an efficient metal/crystal/obsidian bird in scorched earth. 6k+ health and whatever melee you see fit. You're welcome.

These guys honestly aren't very good after the flyer nerf. I lost a lvl 70 Pteranodon trying to tame one and he wasn't even that good

I find that if you go to the north western corner of the map you find a good amount of these things. Find your desired bird then just lead it back to the safer half of the beach. Do NOT do this on foot as rexes allosaurus sabers raptors and many more are out for your blooooood.

Since the most recent patch they can't outrun anything. But still has many great aspects and make for a great pack maul
