Once you find one, use a pternodon to attack it and get it to follow you to a beach. It flys really slow so when you get to the beach, jump off your pternodon and tranq it about 2 times in the head. Since it is a flying dinosaur it takes 3 times more damage and torpor from arrows. Try not to kill it on accident!!

BEST TRAP!!!!!!

1. Build 4-5 dinosaur gateways and 2 doors

2. Go to Argy spawn and find a flat area (snow, mountains)

3. Get narc arrows or tranq darts

4.find and shoot argy with low power weapon (not in the head)

5. Place walls so you can run through but not too wide then place one door on one end

6. After shooting run into trap, after argy in the trap have tribe mate or you place a door on other end then run through crack in between gateways

7. Tranq, tame and enjoy your new argy by killing everything on the mountain

They are found in mountainous areas especially snowy ones and are a very good tame, they can carry a lot of dinos/animals.

I usually like to craft three stone dino doors and two dino gates, and place the gates on either side. Fly a pteranodon through the gap and close the other gate. I knock it out with a crossbow and tranq arrows. Feed it raw meat and some narcotics and boom, you have an argentavis. Hope this helps!

I found a level 300 in dead island so of course I got traps and knocked it out but there’s just so many creatures that a rex spawned right on the same mini island. Dead island sucks

There’s raptors,Carnos,sabres,other Argys,rexs and alphas.

I tamed it with a 10x soothing balm and prime meat. My Pt is really good for stuff but I need a utility mount for gathering metal and other rare materials.

I have a level 270 who can take on an alpha rex

Flying raptor, anky, doedic, that doesnt gather resources

if u find one but in a dangerous place Use a pteranadon shoot one arrow and let it chase u to a safe place where there is no dangerous creatures u don't need to kill any carnivore

I killed of these by accident and found metal weapons on it, it had a metal pike and a hatchet wtf does an Argie have this for lol

I usually go to the volcano on the island map and there are usually a couple of argys

Make a trap. To make a trap you need to have multiple dinosaur gateways and two dinosaur gates. If you put the gates at the right spacing, you can shoot through the holes without them getting out.

You cannot fly these creatures on Xbox at least

Argies are very hard to tame. Use spikes and lure into a safe place near redwoods.

Good tip have a bola on the Argentavis because when the bola on they can't move for 30seconds

The best stat to level up on an rg is melee damage AND weight if you can speed is good
