On easy mode, 2 tranq darts will put a level 2 down. 1 soothing balm and 1 stego kibble will tame it. No narcs needed. Tip for those beginners on an easy solo game.

Be careful when trying to tame one you have to be reallly prepared. If your going to use a trap but forgotten the kibble well you lost that army because when they are in the trap they disappear when you go out of tender distance

Use a shotgun or crossbow. It makes life so much easier

The timers on different types of food is slightly off. Remember to always use cooked fish meat when taming an argentavis as it is their favourite food! It will take around 15 minutes to fully tame a 150 :D

Get a high level pteranodon lure it on top of that big mountain with a crater an keep it in the middle and knock it out. Since you have a high level pteranodon you can fly around and kill argentavises for easy prime meat.

If you have a quetzal you can lure an Argy up the side of the volcano where it is safe without using spikes.

On ps4 don't use the 5 seconds between each tranq arrow it needs to be 10 seconds or more otherwise you kill it

I would work on the stamina on the arky depending on its stamina if it is 137%or lower upgrade it if its 200% alright but i would suggets 250 or more then upgrade movment speed

They are mostly in the snow and Carno island.

On SE,aggro it and kite back to your base, then tranq it. Be prepared, it will run on low torpor. Once down, surround with 2 tiers is spike walls and place a foundation, door, etc to access.

Keep circling the feet and it won't be able to hit you and you can get clear headshots on it

Go near an Argentavis, Pull out a crossbow, (with tranq) and shoot it in the head, run away, shoot, run, shoot, and so on. When it runs away, chase and shoot. Basically. Bolas don't affect Argens.

build a box quetz with dino gates and doors then als you have to do then is land on top of the bird and get off quetz and its then trapped

Make a taming hut/base with dino gate and stone door frames need STONE or it will destroy wood or thatch

This bird is very easy to tame as birds take 6x damage just hit it with one trank and lead it to your Base and u shouldnt need more then 8 to 10 more to the head

Argents have the best carry weight increases in scorched earth making it the best pack mule over wyvern also being carried in its claws and using a whip for dragon eggs is very useful

You can use an argy to pick up an Anky or doedic and fly around with it and collect metal.

A guy helped me tame a lv97 argy after that I died u ran back he had breed his lv197 with my newlv97 so now I just have a egg without air cons and a tip if you put a argy egg on a argy it does not loose health so not know if this works for other eggs

this is an awsome mount for all purposes i am taming a lvl 230 and max lvl is 300 and it has amazing stats tame this as early as possible i didnt tame it with a trap but i recomend to do it you lure it in and close the dino gates then tranq it out it eats stego kibble or supirior kibble take some bio toxin in case and wait for it to tame you can also use prime or normal meat i would choose kibble or prime
