Baby argys can fly! Just bring them to water but they’re quite slow and btw u can’t put a saddle when they’re flying

Up so everyone knows this

If you go into a redwood then you will find these everywhere

tank the points into speed and stamina. that makes them the ultimate flying tame, at least on Ark Mobile

1. Should take something like a pterodon get a saddle for it.

2. Go up to a place where argy’s are, attack it while riding the pterodon to get it to follow you.

3. And keep having it follow you (by attacking it but only when it starts to lose interest) until you get to a safe taming spot.

4. Fly as high as you can to make it stop following you.

5. Take a some tranq arrows and a crossbow or bow and start shooting it.

6. Feed raw meat

Probably one of the most important flying mounts for late game. A lot of recipes with the fabricator need very high tier resources. A huge source is the volcano(crystals, obsidian, metal), and an argy has reduced weight, resulting in carrying a lot of materials than a mount that carry’s similar weights.

Increase HP and Melee is actually a good idea for dino hunting role. You can fly around, killing low level dinos so new dinos can be spawned. Repeat till you get the high level dino you want.

Small dinos can be picked off and drop into taming cage.

Big angry dino can be slowly tranq by just land-shot-takeoff

Since it is slow DO NOT use in wyvern trench unless on scorched earth.

Use a taming pen with an Arge and you can get a lot of good resource farming dinos (beavers ankylosaurus etc.)

You can use its inventory as a smithy

Real alien tame them with kiblle and knock them with trank arrows

These guys are really easy to find just go to very high terrain

I have a lvl 40 Argy named Falcone. I was hoping to breed a very beautiful male with her, but he mate was stuck in redwoods and got killed. I got a apprentice argy saddle blueprint, which took me hours to make. But in the end, it was worth it. Argys are pretty helpful, but can be annoying at times. They help you pick things up, and a decent lvl can have good weight. If you pick a wild raptor up with an Argy, it can't pounce on you. Also, their stam is the decent too. Good for travelling long distances, whether flying full speed or regular flying.

But heres a consequence... They are slow, so slow that a pteranodon can beat them in a race. They spawn in the Artic, or the place near the artic. The saddle is unlocked at lvl 62 and can be crafted in the smithy. One more thing about Argies are that they are easy to fight in the wild.

These guys are the most useful and the most annoying creatures in the mobile version. I’ve tamed a few of them, you just need a few tranq arrows and plenty of meat. They’re most common in the northern half of the map but if you don’t enjoy freezing to death go to carno inland (the desolate chunk of rock in the north east corner of the map where nubs go to die) where there’ll probably be a few low level argys (that short for argentavis) flapping around. Just shoot one full of tranq arrows somewhere away from the usual carnage found in places on carno island. If you can’t get one to come at you kill something, a sabertooth should do the trick, and an argy should try to eat it, (and yes, the pesky vultures can and will try to steal your kills) they can smell corpses from far away. Hit /\ so nubs see. This is for the mobile version, made by choptamer. You can find me on the official server weathertop, unless you have a present for me stay away.

Once tamed you have a weight reduction for certain things like metal and they can withstand the cold so if you are grinding metal use this to your advantage and go up to the snowy mountains

It’s an easy tame and halves metal weight and carries ankylo and has good weight best flying Dino ever

Use a metophiticus to tame a Argentavis. He will throw poo at him which will slow him down and will be very easy to tame :)

Arges are good tames they can pick up to a bary.so your in luck! They can easily pick up creatures.so you can just knock the dino out in the cage.you find in waterfall areas they also spawn near the volcano and also in forests. To tame make four gates each 5 inches from each other, and to gates in the back fly with a flying creature and go thru it the arge will follow and then close the gates.then just shoot thru the holes.the Dododex will tell you what it eats.

Taming is very easy, a lvl 21-ish got took down from the air with 2 tranq arrows, then I killed some Carnos for prime meat. Literally wasn't even a second and it was tamed. Gonna name her Freedom cuz shes just a big friendly eagle. Found in the snowy areas of The Island. Awesome tame to fly around with and kill Rex's, NEED TO HAVE HIGH STAMINA AND MELEE, YR BIRD MIGHT DIE IF U TRY THIS WITH LOW LVLS.

Xbows don't seem to get headshot damage, but I knocked one out using a regular bow and was getting headshot damage everywhere but the head. Knocked out a 135 with 15 arrows, where a 130 took 40 with an xbow. Both were 100% damage.
