To those who thought that the instant tame acctually instant tamed it with zero reascources:it just reduces the time needed for taming greatly by causeing its hunger to decrease more rapidly, so you still need annd the other reescources for taming it

Don't tame it with stego kibble unless you have two kibble cause on a lvl 3 stego kibble will only get it to 87% if you do at least bring soothing balm OR prime meat do it for me i wasted stego kibble and only got it to 87% and had no soothing balm or prime meat and i watched its taming drop

You don't even need a trap for these guys. Just aggro one and shoot in the head and boom easy tame.

On mobile u can pick up baryonyx 🤷🏻‍♂️

Argy has half weight for metal,obsidian,stone,metal ingot,black pearl,crystal,organic polymer,polymer so its a must have.

You have to run they are pretty slow

You can pick up anky with player on anky with Argy. Have player 1 fly Argy. Pick up anky with other player riding anky and collect all the metal.

My answer to the Would you Rather question-

Personally, I’d rather infinite stamina over weight. Yes, the whole point of an agry is to carry tons of weight, but they already have tons of weight reduction on a lot of things.

Since argies are not really fast, I have to land all the time when carrying my anky, leaving both me and it exposed to predators (Keep in mind, I don’t have cryopods yet). Having infinite stamina would avoid this problem entirely.

However, this is just my opinion. I’d love to see what other people think as well!

Ah, the Argentavis. What can be said about this giant hawk boi that hasn't been said already?

I like to have what I call 'mobile mines' depending on what resource I need at a time. I usually keep 3-4 Argys around my base, alongside my Dodecs and Ankys. If I'm low on stone, I take my Dodecs with this thing. If I'm low on metal, I use it with Ankys. They make resource runs so much easier and their saddle makes smithing on the go a breeze. Plus, they aren't squishy, so using them in combat is very practical. They are slower than a Ptera, but having more stamina makes up for it.

So i tamed and argy level ten (im on easy mode btw) i used a soothing balm and a stego kibble to tame it. After i tame it it become level 22 and have like 800 stamina up if i should try get good meele and health argents to bread with it down if i shouldn't bother . (Other stats average btw)

Don’t tame in the snow unless u have a trap/spikes because the ice place is rlly dangerous

Instead place a trap near volcano and trap the argy then cover it with spikes

HOPE THIS HELPED!

Kill something nearby the argie you want to tame and wait for it to start eating, then as it starts to eat the thing you killed knock it out with tranq arrows. Feed meat and using this method we didn't even need narcotics

You don't even need a trap, you can just run around in circles while shooting it. You can always use a net gun for an easy tame .

The most common trap is the Dino gate trap, might I suggest DONT USE THEM?! They are highly inefficient and take a while to set up. I used this method to tame a argy and both times took around 15 minutes so that’s half an hour of trying to trap a bird lost. That’s the inefficient part. The tedious part is tryna build it. This method is viable if you build like 10 gateways and the gates open out. Best way to get argies is by watching videos on making taming pens/ traps for them

Dont use a wooden gate on the argy if you aren't going to tame it for a while. They can break wooden structures

Get prime meat, get to a vantage point, spray tranq darts, give dat boi narcotics, EZ

Fun thing I did with this when I tamed it is I was moving and while Holding a Doedicurus with its feet I was flying by some rocks and the Doedicurus automaticaly mined the Rocks. So basically this thing could be a very good mobile rock miner
