MOST PEOPLE WILL RECOMMEND USING THREE STONE GATES AND TWO DOORS AS AN ARGY TRAP!

I also did tried it to trap a wild 300 lvl argy,but you know? I ended up getting killed by it.The thing is the door closes very slowly and creates time for the argy to escape.

So what you should do is make three stone gate,one door,three stone pillar

Place the three doors in a line , and don't place the door, instead put it on your hotbar.

Now at the last gate place the three pillars right at the center of it , this creates a gap for you to run and not an argy.

Now as usual, lure one into the trap,

Once you escape through the gaps between the pillars quickly run back and place it.

Placing a door is quicker than closing one that already got placed. I tamed the wild one using this trap. It's very effective.

And don't forget to test it before trying.

These animals can actually carry a baryonix

Its saddle works as a smithy.

Watch out for these guys they will beat yu, best way to get rid of them is run or hit them with stun arrows they are basically impossible to kill by hand they automatically heal.

It can fly, it is a bird, you can see it

They can have very high health and dmg so there also good fighters

Just finished my first tame with 10-12 tranqs to the head. My mesopithecus came in super clutch, poo throws really helped me kite and allowed for super easy headshots. Used about five narcotics to keep him down.

To you who gave the argy taming guide, THANKS SO DAMN MUCH. With your guide, I was not only able to tame the Argy, not only able to tame a Doedicurus, but tame an Eqqus too! I hadn’t completed the pursuit but the Argy can carry the Eqqus so I brung one back to base and tamed it! Thanks a sextillion!

These guys despawn when you go to far from it.

When taming, ALWAYS put wooden spiked walls, multiplayer or not. I HAD TO TAME AN ARGY 4 TIMES BC IT KEPT DYING😭😭😡😡😡😡😡

You can make a cage to the argentavis and hit him one arrow only and make a bed and go to sleep when you woke up hit him until he fall down and you well get it's food is zero so it will tamed in a very small time.

I try this tips to tame argentavis level 157 with meat and he tamed in just 20 second

Stone trap

5 stone Dino gate ways and 2 Dino gate way doors

Aline them up and put the doors on each end

I suggest female Argys for eggs

Get argy no mount or yes mount open the front and lead it in go through the crack in between the gate ways and close the door

Argentavis carries half of the weight of stone, obsidian, and metal (refined and not refined). They are useful for transporting heavy things, the only downside is they fly slow.

It can be found in few places like in redwoods mountain or the snow mountain

If the Argy is to high to get down use your spyglass and look at the tame through the spy glass and whistle land one and voila ur tame will land

ark devs can there should be a item that’s a container with a handle that the arg can carry and you can put tames in or carry players in

OK SO I just tamed my first argy (I’m lvl 58 so still kinda noobie) they really aren’t that hard to tame. I just used a crossbow w/ trank arrows and it fell quick. (Lvl 15 argy) While I fed it normal meet I killed some diplos for like 10 prime and it tamed within 5 minutes? Better then 30. Hope this help :) (this was in the red woods so be careful Of the near by swamp)
