These things are fast, I rednecked it with a tranq crossbow, almost died, don't recommend doing that, if you're a new player you should get practice with small stuff and then work up to these they can kill you really really fast, amazing for hauling metal tho

I don't have to tell how good transporter they are but one advice for taming, make sure to keep dead dino nearby so it have its healing effect on while you shooting tranq, if it knocks out while in healing state, it will have less chance of dying and will have almost half food bar empty for quick feeding

So it tamed a low level one and don’t have a saddle for it. I used three stone gateways and two gates. I don’t fly him because I am only a level 51 so I use him to bring lots of metal and crystals from the mountains home.

Needs 20 kibble not 19. I used 19 kib and 2 prime meat and it came out to be a 198.

I don’t see this a lot but on old ark mobile you can feed potent dust to Dino’s and they’ll get an instant 50 levels for your first dust and 20 for every other dust after that And if you use the dodo arrow and the grinder glitch for infinite dust then you got infinite levels to make your argy or any other Dino unstoppable

Tame a high level male, high level female, breed them and you get the dino you will use the most. Use tranq arrows or tranq darts and 4 dino gateways for a trap and NEVER use a slingshot, it will die even if you heal it

When taming an argy, the easiest way is to try to get it to activate its “regeneration” buff on a dead animal. This will drain its food and make taming extremely fast and easy once it’s knocked out.

Use your 4 stone gateways to trap this with 2 reinforced doors on each end. Then put a sleeping bag next to the trap and go to sleep.BEST AREA FOR TRAPPING IS ON TOP OF THE VOLCANO.

Wake up and knock it out.

It will attack the trap all night and lose all its food.

Put the food in and it will instantaneously start eating.

This works with anything that will attack the gates non stop. Doesn't work for animals that run after being hit. If it was helpful share this so that others can see this.

If you are a new player and are not sure if you want to tame one read this

Its a must have flier its not very fast but is pretty strong and can carry A LOT

It also has reduced weight on some stuff so it can carry even more

And they are pretty easy to tame by just luring them in a simple and cheap trap for which you can find a tutorial on youtube

When taming will fast tame when in fast regeneration mode, fancy plus signs floating around them

PC players using Xbox controller pick up Dinos with left trigger. They don’t have a tight turn radius so I find it easier in most cases to sprint fly ahead of what you’ve aggro’d and land to fight them head on. Go watch Captain Fatdog video on YouTube for a low material cost Argy trap. Works like a charm.

I don’t use any trap I just shoot it out from the sky

These things can be op in 4 categories, Strength, Stamina, Weight and Speed

I tamed a couple of these pretty easily. I just shot with tranq arrows while an argy was circling me. Knock it out, and then tame with preferred choice of food (mine is prime meat, I’m too lazy for kibble). Then keep them safe, pump a few narcotics, and then bam. You got an argy. I bred the two females and the males, and 66% imprinted on the male baby and 100% on the female baby. The female’s movement speed is over 200% and I get around the entire island without having to land for stamina. Good luck 👍🏻

They can pick up ankys and doedics for stone and metal runs

If they where faster and can take u with his/her claws it would be much harder to deal with.

Once I was venturing through redwoods with my argy but suddenly a carno came vut my strong argy saved and killed the carno

In order to keep them safe but still level them up make a small base somewhere safe tame a pteranodon and use the pteranodon to drop fills for it to kill
