Use this to carry an anky to metal mountain then you have a metal making machine

TLC update 2 allows Argents to pick up doeds and anky. The way I found out my buddy was harvesting flint and a giga appears. I was trying to save my tribe mate ended up picking up the anky by accident. Lol

To trap team do three or four dinosaur gates in a row close to each other and at the end to place the doors to the gates

Fun fact: If you have an ascendant 305.4dmg crossbow it take four tranq arrows for a lvl 140

You all really complaining about the argy speed, wanting thrusters on the d*mn thing. Literally it is one of the most OP dinosaurs in the whole game!

If you’re having trouble finding the Argie on Ark Survival Evolved (Mobile), I find it is most common near the top of mountains in the redwood forests (Middle of the island). An easy way to escape if you’ve aggravated the Argie is try to fly away on a pteradon. Good luck!

If collecting metal, stone, and wood. Get a farming team that consists of a anky, beaver, and a doedicurus. Collect materials with them and keep designated materials in the inventory as the have weight reduction on them. Pick this dinos up with an arge and you can carry more of these materials then you would with just the arge. I know a lot of people already know this but just had a buddy who didn’t so figured I would say something just incase others don’t.

ON MOBILE: They can't carry dimetrodon

Best method in my opinion:

Get a flyer such a pterodon but a tappy would be better.

Get a decent crossbow or a primitive longneck. Shoot with tranqs and feed food if your choice

Often finds the in top of mountains..

I tamed a level 20 by accidentally starve taming it. I had shot it with all the tranqs needed, but I was running, so by the time it went out it was on top of a big rock, forcing me to build a that structure and a ton of ladder up to it. Lol it tamed real fast once I got to it because I had a vulture filled with mutton on follow.

The argentavis has a weight reduction of metal, so these would be good for metal trips, they are pretty slow though and picking up creatures can add weight.

If you are solo, or just starting out. The argy is the best bird to carry an anky around and farm metal. You can make some beastly birds too. When applying points, the numbers go up very nice.

I personally prefer travelling to the mosh pit (On the western coast) and they are so easy to tame! You only need a crossbow and tranq arrows but if they are a higher level I’d recommend building a cage so that the don’t fly away where you can’t reach them (unless you are using tranq darts and a longneck). Kentros, Hynaedons and other argents spawn here so I kill them for their prime meat and throw it into the argent! Enjoy your new argentavis!

favorite pvp mount easily, wit decent stats in good hands you can easily wipe out a large number of players. Good weight Stam and hp. depending on the type your aiming for, a farming argy I recommend around 5-10 levels into speed, 40-ish into weight and the rest whatever you want (melee, more speed, hp and stam.) A pvp argy you want to max its speed, you can do this by getting notes or killing alphas, (they give the most xp) next you should work on its health and melee damage. Like I said this bird can be unstoppable givin good stats and pilot. Hope this helps <3

For anyone that just got or is going to get one I shall add you should find a completely white Argy, then use paint an mix it with potent dust (2-3 dust or it won’t show) then put it into the inventory, remote feed a few times and then you’ve got yourself a colorful argy (you can make potent dust at the Morter and Tesle using amber)

I currently have 2 of these, once’s name is Merlin and the other is Bucky cause why not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ They are absolutely fantastic mounts are are probably the most useful in the game so far. I’d recommend getting one fairly early on in the game cause I love them and they’re great to have around.

Make a pen 6x2 dino gateway and a couple of rows of doorsways (no doors),leave one wall tile out. Get Argi to follow you back to pen on pteranadon stop at pens gateway,wait for Argi to hit you fly out missing wall tile straight ahead (at a sprint speed otherwise you'll get stuck), once out park bird right infront of Argi....run round and close gate. Better to build this just out front of base incase it goes to attack dinos but also makes it a nice close and safe tame. Good luck

I use mine to carry my ank back from the metal deposits with only metal in its inventory

Then the same with my dodidicoris with stone

Also works with parasaurs with berry's unfortunately you need to walk the mammoth back with wood but use the beaver to fill it !
