So pick this up with argentavis, and make an argentavis follow you, max out boths weight and there u go u have infinite metal, just go volcano and mine it all out, maybe crystal and obsidian too, make sure all the metal or most of it is in anky because of weight reduction, obsidian stone and crystals in argentavis.

Very easy to tame in low lvl I wouldn’t waste darts on it first I use club and go around it and keep hitting don’t go to the other side that’s where it hits but easy to tame why waste darts on it I’m very good taming small and medium size Dino’s with pachy it’s more better knocking out dinos

Everyone knows that these are great for metal but they can also harvest berries very well with the alternate attack button. They are also the best around for harvesting flint, so are great when you’re looking to make a lot of gunpowder.

Always been kinda short on metal. But after I tamed one of these guys. Never-ending! 😂

This is one of the best tames early game, absurd amount of metal and obsidian can be farmed very quickly, also number 1 in 6 categories including flint and metal, also highly rated for crystal

The recommended berry count isnt very accurate, recommended 300 mojo berries i tamed it on 150 with starve taming

I've tamed an anky recently and I found out how efficient it is. Just make sure to lvl up on weight as it stops auto harvesting after its half way through its weight.

Tip: More damage = more metal.

When breeding Ankylosaurus, imprinting is a great investment.

PASSIVE, AGGRESSIVE OR NEUTRAL?

Ankylosaurus(or anky, as they are more commonly called) are very tanky, relatively small dinosaurs. They are docile, which means they attack only when provoked. MAKE SURE to maintain distance, as that big boulder can tear through you! THE EASIEST way is through tranq arrows, as these dinos are not strong enough to really waste tranq darts on.

TAMING

The easiest way to tame it is through tranqs(like i said). Arrows from a crossbow or even an ascendant bow (cough cough mobile players) are enough to knock this lil beast. Feed any fruit or vegetable(rare ones increase taming speed such as rockarrot, savoroot or longrass) or even kibble. Wait for a bit and bingo, you got an anky!

USES

These guys are BEASTS at harvesting metal and flint, and while only unlocking their saddle at LEVEL 36, these guys are great early game gatherers to create your needed smithy tools and fabricated tools. They also have an 85% WEIGHT REDUCTION on metal, which make them great for transporting metal over decent distances. I say decent because of their abysmal speed, which is only fair because of their bulkiness. THE BEST way to go on metal runs with these guys is with an Argy. Now, they don’t unlock early, so be wary, but Argies have a 50% WEIGHT REDUCTION on ores, because they have a smithy on their back, so, pick up your Anky with your Argy and start the metal runs!

In genesis you can find them in the snow biom

The best spot got high levels is in the volcano biom

The best place to tame these guys is on the herbavor island in the southeast of the main island

So for the Anky, bring Mejo berries, and a few narcotics, and tranq it while running back as it chases you. Keep in mind that these are very slow, and outrunning them is an easy task, but also keep in mind that the health on these tanks are rlly good, so if you plan on killing it, good luck. Great dino for gathering metal and it's almost easty to tame just shoot it with trank arrows in the head while walking backwards feed mejobery and then you got you're anky

I'm not sure If this is obvious to everyone else but I realised its 100% worth it, not only can they carry soooo much more metal than you, they also don't have durability like your weak little hatchet so you don't have to bring an extra three on your volcano trip.

Give your anky tons of berries and/or veggie cakes, they totally deserve it!
