I was wandering around the outside of my base one evening doing my nightly rounds. I was bar shotgun and armor thinking I was safe what with a Rex and Spino a whistle away. That was my first mistake. The second came when I saw a flash of feathers and claws and ran AWAY from my base trying to get away from the raptor. My third mistake got me when I stopped to whistle to assist and the raptor pounced. I was near death when I heard running. Thinking it was a bigger predator I dreaded to see a carno swoop in...instead, a forgotten tame, dropped by an argy days prior, charged into battle and with one swipe, Lump the ankylo koed the raptor. The poor thing was starving and at 50 hp so I feed him my own stash of reserve berries and led him home. Lump now sits in his own hut, a trough of berries to himself in honor of saving my life that night
