These things are surprisingly good at turret soaking for a Dino like it.

Normal stance: 1.0X

Defense stance: 2.0X

Adrenaline defense stance: 3.0X

X= X defense

Great for clearing spam and turrete inside caves because of the 6x damage.

Takes 60% less damage in shield mode

It’s basically a better Rex. Use it for boss fights of meat gathering.
