Ok the ascendant crossbow is kind of hard to use to tame low lvl creatures..
Replaying to that one guy the only way to get better quality equipment is mainly through supply drops you see on maps or killing alphas although you have to get lucky you can ignore grey and green drops and only go for blue, purple, yellow, red (make sure to be high enough level to access these) fishing helps too if your rod is a high tier too but not recommended
The crossbow has a reload time of 2.61 seconds but dododex can only use 2.6 for its calculations or 0.66 with the grapple
Crossbow is good 👍 and help you to kill or knock out dinos
