Use bug repellant and a ghillie suit, and croucg-walk behind it to passive tame it.

Using a trap can be a bad idea because if they Argo on you they will attack the trap until it is destroyed. I used bug repellent and it still can Argo but not likely. The strategy that some one else said works better.
