Obsidian is commonly found on volcanoes, snowy mountains, highland areas, caves, and underwater trenches, though dangerous creatures may make some locations risky. Magmasaurs and Dunkleosteus are highly effective harvesters, while Ankylosaurs and Phoenixes are solid alternatives; Doedicurus should only be used on obsidian nodes that also yield metal, or it may gather only stone. Pair land harvesters with a weight-focused flyer or transport platform, and use creature weight reductions to carry more home. Rag-like underwater ravines and cave systems can provide especially dense deposits.
