If you manage to get the mining drill, this can be even better than anky. You can move faster and it reduces your weigh. Team up with a good weight argentavis, and you are good to go and get tons of metal in seconds

So what you need to do first is get an Anky. They are found in redwoods or herbivore island. They aren’t the fastest dinos, so use an argy to carry it. You should be smelting iron by then. Your next big goal is to get a better anky. After, try to tame a quetzal for more weight. By this point you should grind for the industrial forge. Once you finally get that, you can get and smelt Metal easily. Try to get the platform saddle for the quetz and slap an industrial and multiple refining forges. You should have no worries grinding Metal anymore.

Just go on aberration with karkinos and any, later found the good spot to farm metal, and after few minutes you get slotcap on your anky, I'd you want you can make another slotcap of metal but in your own inventory. Andy is far by the best use a argentavis or quetzal and go scout around for metal you will need it it is very important especially as when later on in that game you will be needing like 20k on you at all times

If you can somehow get a mining drill from gen it’s super fast at getting metal and really good as well

The best way to transport iron ore is to carry a Anky with a quetzal, or anything that can carry an anky and has a lot of wait.

When you have your mining drill equipped it will reduce the weight of metal

For noobs level 30-40 u can go to the attic and all you need is and argy a base and fur pants and fur chest plate you can find them on the mountain ORE 😬 you can do it on the coast - Surviver Daniel

If I’m you’re in late game and you need metal, and you just so happen to have a quetz and a platform saddle, (you do not need one but it will be a little harder) you get as many ankys as you want or anything with weight reduction for metal, and fly around with an argentavis on follow if you want that extra that extra weight off, and park your quetz somewhere then get an anky and your argentavis, collect your metal, then store in the ankys, if you do not have a platform you could just carry around your anky with your argentavis. Once done you could just put some in your argy and some in your anky and put you argy back on follow. I hope you found this helpful
