If you do use the pick, pair it with a mantis, this makes it much faster and also allows you to get around more. If you have a Dino with good weight and movement speed, have it follow you to get more at one go.

An Ankylosaurus with bred stats into melee/ full imprint is better. No imprint or extra mutations on an anky isn't as good as Speedy Mantis imo.

If you got the mining drill use that you will get stone and flint but you have a 75% weight reduction for stone while it's equip
